6. Something shady going on, my tesla was supposed to deliver March 6th, it's April 1-10 and now it won't qualify for rebate. How could tesla be so off? Or was it deliberate? Cancel or buy without rebate?

7. People who think electric vehicles are carbon neutral or even environmentally friendly are hilarious. Even if they could somehow manage to obtain all the electricity in a "clean" manner… the waste from batteries will devastate the environment. But this is typical thought process for people, short term brains.

I'm still amazed that my 2023 Kia Soul EV (because it's still sold in Canada) has WIRED Apple CarPlay/Android Auto with a standard USB A port even though the car has power-only USB C ports too, but the gas model of the same car same model year has WIRELESS CarPlay & Android Auto. Really sucks as wireless would have made way more sense. Especially given my car does have a wireless charger but it's effectively useless if I also want to use CarPlay and have to plug in with an old USB cable regardless.

10. Regarding the warming up feature??? My 15 year old Prius and any Toyota Hybrid since 2004 has this feature.
    If the HVAC is set to Auto, I will not ramp up the fan until enough heat or cold is available to make a difference.
    Regarding the profitability of the Legacy automakers.. They don't make as much on the existing ICE cars they have been building for decades as Tesla does now.
    Tesla could lower prices significantly once they get to the desired output they want to meet global demand.
    The Legacy makers could find themselves running out of cash before they can get to the goal they have set.
    I do wish Tesla would ad Android Auto and Apple carplay.. I have to use my phone for nav.. be nice to have the route mirrored on the big display… or at least to have that choice.

21. Got Park Assist a couple days ago on my 2023 Model Y. It is so bad. Nowhere near ready for prime time. It will tell me to STOP when I’m still feet away. It will also do the opposite and tell me I have 30” when I’m about to hit. Not good at all

23. I’m ok with GM losing $ on each Bolt/EUV they sell because they make it up on the ice side. Oh, my daughter ok with that as well. She just received her EUV after preordering it six months ago. I took a test drive in her ev and put in a order for one myself. Would much rather have the EUV then M3 or Y!

27. Just looked at used just now, tesla model y standard range with 30k miles 60,000 so I don't know where you're getting your used prices from.

28. The Tesla's Profitability is over many years of EV design, manufacturing issues in the early days of Model 3, Ford has only been at the real EV biz since the reveal back in 2019 of the Mach-e, so it is not expected to be profitable yet, this all takes time.

29. Nice that Tesla finally added the warming up feature. We had a 2006 Camry with automatic climate control that had this exact feature. It’d run the fan at a minimum (to keep the windows clear) until the coolant temperature came up.

31. I just took delivery of my approved used Model 3 2020, i'm so happy with it :D! Ordered on their UK site.

    £25,000, for those curious 🙂 Absolute bargain and so pleased they dropped into my preferred price range for used 🙂 The inclusion of Enhanced AP and a lot of other creature comforts like mudflaps, premium connectivity and floor carpet mats, just were the cherry on top.

    Delivery process near Birmingham UK was also I can confirm, streamlined, efficient and pleasant.

32. I wonder when we’ll see Tesla Y with longer range 4680 batteries out of Texas, perhaps even a 400 mile range.

33. I got mine used (2018) and it's outstanding. Paid nowhere NEAR 30-40k tho. While I love my Tesla (absolutely love it), I couldn't justify some $500+ car note for it. Im not using it Uber or future autonomous gigs while I'm not using it. It's just my toy and there's certainly a cap on how much I'll spend on a toy. But the best part is, I got mine for a GREAT deal AND it came with EAP. So honestly, I'm living the value shopper's dream right now. I got a like new Tesla that isn't one of those shitty blue or red colors, I live right across the street from a FREE level 2 charger that no one ever uses in the 5 years I've lived here, and I have enhanced autopilot. If I want FSD, I just have to pay $99/month or $9k for the full upgrade, which I'll probably do in a few years as opposed to buying a new car. But aside from insurance, I pay absolutely nothing to drive this car and that's incredible.

45. Much as I respect the trades, it'll be interesting to see if they can adapt to continuous quality improvement and innovation. Lower priced UAW-built EVs depend on it. Deming always thought the floor workers wanted to embrace his ideas, but union management was the impediment. Guess we'll see
