  1. I dunno why people give lot of importance to benchmarks. The everyday use will not be noticeable with a phone with snapdragon gen 2 or 3, even with the iPhone, so I think that milliseconds will not matter πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚, people are exagarating a lot about benchmarks πŸ˜‚

  2. I wonder why the benchmark scores were so much higher on the Pixel 8 Pro. If anything I would expect the Pixel 8 to do better than the Pixel 8 Pro just because of the lower resolution.

  3. The obsession over benchmarks when most users will never max a chips performance is useless. Unless you buy a phone for heavy gaming or run it as 24hr server. Not having 15 cores is fine. Battery life, screen brightness, call quality, build quality, camera quality, updates, eco system outweigh running the phone continuously for 10hrs.

  4. These scores doesn't mean anything to pixel phone's software magic , their focus isn't these scores but Artificial intelligence and user experience. Even the pixel 6 running smooth and very faster with 600geekbench score. That's actually what people need, phones aren't racing car though

  5. Hi, another hands on video affirms that the 8, when being at 120hz, doesn't look like it really were 120hz. It says the difference between the smoothness of the 8 Pro and the base 8 is noticeable… Was it your experience as well? Did the base 8 was not as smooth as we should expect being at 120hz and having that much peak brightness?

  6. Good stuff

Let us not forget there called smart phones not fast phone's for a reason .
    G3 is smarter

Google making smart phones smart again
    #Bard 2024 #pixel8

Do you think the general population will benefit from a smartphone chip that is fast enough to play triple a games more than. On board AI πŸ€”

Google was already Miles ahead in the assistant department ,

Now with all of those algorithms being built on board the G3 chip as well as the addition of bard integration.
It will become light years πŸŽ‰

  7. Pixel 8 Pro:
Single core score – Almost Snapdragon 8 gen 2
    Multicore score – Between Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 and 8 gen 2

    Pixel 8:
Single core score – Similar to Snapdragon 8+ gen 1
Multicore score – Similar to Snapdragon 8+ gen 1

  8. Those screens look so dim compared to the start of the video. I really want to get one but when I tested a Pixel 7a for a few days, I struggled with how dim the screen was, especially after recording video or playing games.

  9. But what do these scores mean? You need to give a comparesn't previous Models red least compare to the Galaxy s23 ultra ohne News iPhone aber weiss dies scores. Mean nothing on it's own

  10. Sadly you didn't mention the comparison results of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The real question is how much better than the 7th gen is the 8th gen in terms of EFFICIENCY, Feature and performance (in that order). To be honest i never had a performance problem with my 7 Pro, but i had efficiency problems EVERY F*******G DAY. My day is longer than 7h more like 12-14h (including travel times) and there isn't the probabilty to charge the phone every 30 minutes, and take into account that with app. 20% perfomance and features will be reduced. Usually the battery drain is also not linear over the capacity. There is a healthy area in terms of loading 10%-80%, due to limitations in performance this is reduced to 80%-20% (i.e. 60% of the theoretically capacity) Usually you than go to 100%-20% (with overnight loading) but in fact only 4000mAh of the 5000mAh is really usable.
