In todays video I’m giving my 7-month update on the iPhone 14 Pro. Its been more than half the ‘life span’ of the phone, with the iPhone 15 just around the corner. How well has the iPhone 14 Pro held up? Lets find out.

  2. Yeah glad I have my pixel 6 pro 😂 have always had issues with how long apple batteries last, it seems as if they purposely degrade their batteries after a certain amount of time….

  3. I can’t believe that there’a lots of people having the same problems as you. Me personally, I’ve had my 14 PM since launch and battery went down to 98%, however, I noticed my battery life increased by 1 hour. I also have had no bugs on my iPhone luckily. However, I noticed when I watch YouTube, the screen sometimes goes fully black and I have to click off the video and back on, and it worked again. It should be noted that this also happened to my iPhone 8. Probs just an iOS thing or a YouTube thing

  4. I am using iPhone 14 pro max for last 4 months, none of these issues has happened to it.
    Yes there are few bugs but they specific to applications like audio keep on playing on WhatsApp status even though you moved on..
    otherwise it is decent machine but heavy on pockets 😁

  6. I’m sorry to hear about this,personally I have not had any of these issues at least to the extent mentioned in this video with my 14 Pro which I purchased in mid December. It has been the best phone I’ve ever had. I’ve heard enough to realize this is a real problem. Perhaps I was fortunate enough to purchase mine at the right place and time

By the way that signal thing and airplane mode it happened to me on my 12 pro max as well, ive had stupid pocophone f1 that had full bars lte and my iphone had barely h+ not even 3g dude , and in supermarkets or whatever it always struggled with signal so i went with airplane mode multiple times .. such a garbage . As well as screen dimming in summer or just using phone ..

You know that if yout apple device shows you 97% battery life after a year it doesnt mean its exactky true, ive had 100% on my 12 pro max then after one update it went to a 94% , another update it was 92% . It stays 100% and 97% long time then it starts to drop and its just estimated. My 12 pro max was at 100% a year and then 94% in a day

  10. Got my iPhone 14 ProMax last year 24th october. Few days ago battery health dropped to 97% with 67 cycles and charged with apple oem 20w charger. Battery not last so good as first months from purchase date. Noticed volume bar animation bug when changed volume and then instantly swiping home screens. Photos look bland and overshaped when shooting at 12mp. Also frame corners start to peeling off even after I clean phone every 3-4 days. Thinking to trade in my iphone for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Had all iphones since 6s. Last year got Galaxy S22 Ultra with exynos that has bad battery life and that was reason I swithched to 14 ProMax. This year S23 Ultra is different story battery wise. Got from drawer old Galaxy S9+ and screen on that phone is phenomenal comparing to my 14 ProMax.

Not only bugs that is bugging us, the IOS in 2023 is still missing basic features… For example the recent call history is limited to 100 entries only, we as business received 60 to 70 calls a day, and every after two days our call history resets… We can't see who called last week… There is no "Pause" option while recording a video why? There is no number row on the native keyboard why? I have stopped using iPhone after lot of frustrations, I'm now with Samsung and the software experience is next level…

  12. On god the 14 is so buggy, i tried to update some apps and the app store locked me out of my phone when i locked it, had to wait till the phone completely died just to work again

  17. Totally agree. I'm using both Iphone and Samsung and video still the best on Iphone. But all the rest….. man I just love my Galaxy S23+ with Snapdragon One gen.2. Even Battery life is excellent now.

  20. I have so many issues with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Worst iPhone I've ever had. My AirDrop crashes all the time, and most the time my phone refuses to let me send picutures in a group. I can only do it one at a time. I just had to reset my phone and laptop, yet again, for it to work. Still get screen freezes randomly, and battery life is trash. Bluetooth disconnects and hand off doesn't work, phone heats up doing simple stuff, and gets really hot when recording video. Keyboard comes unrepsonsive, and carplay wouldn't work yesterday. I could keep going., I've had it with this phone.

  21. Don't use inductive charging – it causes waste heat, and heat is the enemy of your battery.

    I only use wired charging if at all possible – even my bedside dock is lightning. My maximum capacity on my iPhone 14 Pro Max is still 100%.

    Really, the only bug I've noticed is when I pull down control center it sometimes comes down translucent – I should report it to Apple but haven't yet.

  23. I had a 14 Pro Max One of the main things I use regularly is voice to text, especially being a driver. The voice to text recognition was absolutely TERRIBLE, it spelled everything wrong, and if you have it connected to the Bluetooth, it takes even longer and that's even IF it works lol. I'm so glad I went with the S23 Ultra, I have no complaints about this phone right now, other than maybe missing iMessage a little bit here and there. Also, finding a good case for this phone hasn't been an easy task, I'm waiting for Caudabe to make one, but in the meantime I'm using this piece of garbage OtterBox and I feel like a caveman using it lol

  24. I've had my 14pm for about 2 months the only issue i had was it wouldn't charge on a wall charger but only wireless but after the last couple of updates it hasn't had any issues at all

  27. The thing is, that in today's world, absolutely nobody has any responsibilities whatsoever. And the giant companies know this all too well. They can release whatever garbage and people will keep buying. But so what if the product is trash and full of bugs? What are the consumers to do about it? Yeah, nothing. They can't do anything. Yeah, a few individuals may stop buying their stuff, but it's a drop in the ocean. Our choices literally doesn't matter. And what makes the matter even worse, 99,9% of people don't even care of notice these things.

  28. How much of it is the hardware of the 14 vs iOS/software? My XS Max has been glitchy the last 6 months or so which makes me think part of your issues are software bugs more than the phone itself.

  30. I didn't realize the airplay thing was an issue but with Airplay on my apple TV it randomly disconnects and I have no clue why. I thought it was my connection but it's definitely just my iPhone 14 pro's airplay not working correctly which is quite frustrating.

  31. If you go to your battery app and look at usage, are there any apps taking more juice than you'd expect? Just asking because the combination of overheating, poor battery life, and battery health decay seems to suggest something is hitting your processor hard and often. Google news for example was taking up 20% of my battery with 30 minutes of on screen usage due to background work it was constantly performing. I hope everything gets better for you!

  34. I don't know, mate. I got the iPhone 14 Pro Max and it's sick. I've not noticed any bugs. Trust me, I'm a baby when it comes to this stuff. So far so good!🤞Maybe you got a lemon? 🤷‍♂

  35. With a really premium prize tag you would expect a really premium exercise free from bugs and issues. For reference my friend bought a iPhone 14 pro max to his wife recently for 2000$(1TB)

  38. What you said is happening to my 13 mini too! It has various bugs that I didn't expect… from the Picture app sometimes crashes, failed to rotate or even turn all screen into pink, camera fails to turn on… to battery health dropped 5% within 9 months with wired charge all the time. Not to mention the painful over sharpening pictures it creates, especially making faces look odd and unnatural… and you can't turn the Stupid(they call it 'Smart') HDR off. Bought the iPhone for the longevity and stability, but it turned out much worse than I expected.

  39. İ have 14 pro too and Also 120 hertz screen is not as fluid as my old s20 fe i dont know why.agree with u its the worst iphone ever i used cause of software bugs all that freezes i experienced too

  41. I have to agree with you, I have an iPhone 14 Pro. It’s been an underwhelming experience with upgrading.. my battery drains pretty quick, random glitches, and so on.. I hope that this will all be addressed with future updates. I was very close to switching to Pixel 7 Pro/S23+ but i’ll keep faith. haha.
