Amazon debuts ‘rival’ to Starlink that no one is threatened by

Amazon is probably giving us the ultimate foreshadow in debuting details about their ‘Project Kuiper’ customer terminals.

I say that because no one really thinks these things will be available until 2030.
Despite their claim that they’ll be able to offer service in 2024.

In this video I also show you part of the exclusive Blue Origin Tour I took (can’t show you ALL of it)

  1. Welcome to Amazon!. Project Kuiper chairs and tables ready for purchase. These can be used as satellite terminals in the next decade, if you have not broken them already!. By then, we can expect StarLink terminals to be the size of your iPhone and consume one tenth the power of these chairs. Note: Please do not plug them in if used as chairs and tables (outdoor use only)!.

  2. God made your eyes beautiful! Don't try to improve your natural beauty. Most girls don't have that, but you do. Let your natural beauty shine through and keep up the good work.

  3. Hi Ellie, Glad you are showing signs of healing quickly. Just amazing. I'm pretty sure that I was one of the many that have encouraged you to ditch the fake eyelashes, yes, all that heavy makeup for completely so broadcast news and not at all what you need for your channel. Very proud of everything that you have accomplished and continue to accomplish! Man, oh man you have picked the right time in history to focus on space! I think there are like 87 launches scheduled for 2023! Things are heating up! Cheers, Mark

  4. Amazon is garbage and always will be, I have starlink here in Canada it's absolutely reliable and wonderful to have a great service like star link not an issue not a hiccup especially with getting 560 gigs down and the upload is the same almost, the only thing I see Jeff Bezos doing is riding his rocket dildo going nowhere in the universe😎💯🧂🧂🧂

  5. "breaking a leg" actually comes from the entertainment industry because you'd be in a "cast" and when you're auditioning you're trying out to be part of the cast…get it? 🙂 Ok, i'm going to walk myself out now.

  6. If AMAZON can pull that off all over the world, for all the poor people he will also be able to control the unbanked all over the world. Musk raised prices out of greed so he will lose that market. He even targeted the homeless living in RV's to extra screw them for even more money just for a freaking connection. What a setup!d thing to do to poor people Musk. Anywho great job Bezos.

  7. Ellie, that break looks like a real nasty one. Ouch! x 1000, I suspect. I once fractured a rib from sneezing too hard (seriously) and that hurt like a B for several weeks before it healed. I could hardly move all that time, completely ridiculous. So I can’t even imagine the pain you were in. That you are still managing to make great videos and have a wacky sense of humour about it all shows what a genuine true talent you really are, and why your channel is one of the best on YouTube. Hang in there (no, not from that rock wall) and keep up the great work. Prediction: you’ll get that interview with Elon Musk soon. For sure! 😊

  8. Bezo should start by crossing Karman line and put a satellite in freaking orbit , in the mean time this comment was sent by a "better then nothing" V0.1 dishy that actually connect to a sat in orbit , bezo is a fucking lamer

  9. Hi Ellie – you have my deepest sympathy. I'm an elderly Canadian man who at age 30 in 1978 dropped a motorbike on my left ankle, smashing several bones & requiring three big vitallium screws to hold all the pieces together. I didn't mind the various minor discomforts while healing, but I found the limits to my easy freedom very depressing for a few weeks – the break from life routines was a shock. I got pretty good with crutches for the 7 week healing period before the cast came off & the screws were removed. No serious harm done, but it was about two years before I felt fully restored. I envy your scar. Fear not, it will become less visible over time. Consider it a war wound & a conversation starter at the pool ! All the best now & in the future ! Looking forward to your interview with Cory Steuben – he is hugely knowledgeable about cars & business in general…

  10. There's only so many solutions to an engineering (or physics) problem so devices to do the same job will look similar.
There's a saying that "form follows function" and that's why most fish look similar or why birds are similar too. And why car shapes optimized for aerodynamics will all look somewhat alike.
So of course the Amazon terminal looks like the Starlink terminal

  11. Wow, Ellie, that is one nasty looking break, how did you do it? I hope your feeling better now and have a quick and full recovery. Keep up the great work, love your videos!

  12. Glad you are doing O.K. "Little Ellie", as you have probably been told femur breaks are EXTREMLY DANGEROUS because of the nearby femoral artery. Many people do not survive this injury because they bleed out if that artery is severed. You are a national Jewel and we want to keep you around for many years. It will be a challenge on the road to recovery but something tells me you are not a quitter. Prayers for a full recovery. 🙏

  13. Ellie. Don't be a fool by not suing them. Whatever happened when you were on their ropes is their responsibility. You will be suffering the effects of their incompetence for the rest of your life. I'm 73 and I can feel the effects of every mishap I have ever had. Things do heal and yours will as well, but the pain will last forever. Sorry, but those are the effects. Ask your doctor. Then call a competent lawyer. Love you and your work. Get well soon.

  14. Hi Ellie, Only just discovered your channel. I liked this video very much. It was very informative and very well presented, especially given that you have a broken leg. You truly give rich new meaning to, "The show must go on."
Really, in all fairness, it is understandable that Kuiper equipment would look similar to Starlink. After all, form follows function. The tiny little dishes are really quite exciting. Imagine having broadband internet while on a camping trip. That sounds like a lot of fun to me. I don't know when Kuiper will actually be able to begin doing beta testing, much less offering commercial service, but Amazon has bought up virtually every uncommitted non SpaceX rocket launch for the next five or more years, so they are obviously serious about getting the system up.
Liked and subscribed. And, one more thing, would it be terribly sexist and unwoke of me to say that you are achingly sexy? I am looking forward to more of your videos, believe me.
