Saab Unleashed is a channel that started over lockdown and has evolved into a mixture of Saab-related shinanigans, car infotainment stuff and in-car tech reviews.
I’ve been doing these reviews for a couple of years now. The reviews are always based on my personal opinion and are NOT paid for by the manufacturers. This should be fairly obvious because I always talk about any negative points of products.
Sometimes I buy head units to review; sometimes I reach out to manufacturers asking them to provide me with a head unit to review, and sometimes they reach out to me. It is important to me that everyone knows that these free products will never change the outcome of my opinion, or the head unit final scores. If there are issues, believe me, everyone will know!
My intention is to ultimately create detailed, honest and matter-of-fact reviews for consumers and enthusiasts, not advertisements for the manufacturers.
Nowadays, I try to use affiliate links in the video descriptions wherever possible. Most of them are not affiliate links, but there are some, such as those directing to Amazon or eBay. This means that if you use one of my links to buy something, I might receive somewhere between 1-5% of the value of your purchase from the retailer (obviously no cost to you).
I set this up because running this channel costs money via video editing software, music licencing, (not to mention buying head units and most of my evenings and weekends!) and I don’t get paid for the reviews.
Anyway, I appreciate all of my viewers and subscribers and I am open to any suggestions you might have for me to improve the content.
You've adviced ur subscribers. But u didn't test. Software update. Which messed by device
They sent a file for updating software. But that messed my device. They can't fix it. Its simple reflasing the software back on device. Which they are not helping on..
They stopped responding to my emails.
I don't know why can't they just provide proper steps in reflasing original firmware.
I see positive reviews everywhere. I don't know if each and every product is perfect which is not possible in real world.
You content creators should review based on all things..
Is there generator noise when using the aux cable? I have a cheaper battery power bluetooth adapter that connect to aux, but when charging it in the same time, there is this generator noise

Great video. Your video clearly shows an AV out (which i need to output to camper TV , rca) but the links to the products only list this as an audio out.
I've emailed Carpuride. Which model number did you demo? Can you confirm the AV out works? Is it y cable?
Hi – in all of your tests would you be able to test if you can listen to music and have the maps directions played over the top of the music. IE. – does it mute the music while playing directions, or does it play them both at the same time. And if it does play both at once, are you able to hear the directionsclearly
Question- How is the audio when playing it through the FM station? Good, Ok , Horrible. I have a Infinity fx35 2005 no audio jack

Nice video..and a right hand drive like most cars in India. Now that you have mounted the unit to the AC vents, could you tell how it behaves when you drive the car?…is it stable or wobbly? and does it affect the air conditioning in anyway now that the vents are kinda blocked?

1)Can it be connected to my Android phone via USB cable?
2) does it provide split screen? Navigation ( Google maps) and ahd camera input at the same time?

Hi, I have a lexus rx400h 2006, I like the car and intend to keep it for about 3/4 years more, few days ago my factory fitted amplifier stopped giving volume to the car stereo unit, I’ve done extensive research and I have decided to go for some kind of DAB unit with reverse camera, budget is about £80 to £150 thereabouts, the wiring is so sophisticated that I’m willing to feed new wiring to and from the cars own speakers and try using the existing power supply is I can, if not, I’ll find a new feed, I will try and disconnect the old unit and see if my climate controls still work, if not, I’ll leave it all connected but have the unit on top of the dash as there is plenty of space, I was shocked to find out that the wiring is not straight forward as older cars with standard iso connections, I’ve had a quote for an Apple play unit, they said I’m looking at around £700/£800, that includes bypassing the amplifier, most of the money is towards labour, my question is, can you recommend a double din slim head unit? Thanks in advance 👍🏽
