2. Very impressed by the 5800x3d. Holding higher minimums than the 13900k and 7800x3d and every bit as efficient as it's update. Probably would've gone for that if I could've built my PC again. Much cheaper. Could've bought the $1,300 GPU instead. Damn.

3. when i play cod or flight sim my 5800x3d temps hit 85 is that normal

4. What's fascinating about these benchmarks is the GPU utilization. In some cases 7800x3D is better than 13900k, in some cases 13900k can utilize 4090 better.

   Doesn't look like 7800x3D wins, because it still has bigger drops in 1% and 0.1%, and that's from many tests I saw.
   BUT…when cache works, it will yield better average and max fps, but not the lows, which will be perceived as severe stutter.

   13900k is a better CPU, because it doesn't drop to low-low frames like 7800x3D, but 7800x3D beats out 13900k in higher FPS averages.

   I have 13900k, and I was going to build 7800x3D as secondary system, but watching benchmarks made me pull back on it, and I cancelled the order.
   I am waiting for AM6 cpus from AMD, because 7800x3D is great, but not better than 13900k. I am also bottlenecked by 13900k with 4090, even at 1440p. So, both AMD and Intel need to step up on IPC/single thread performance/core strength. Otherwise we will always limit our GPU, just like even 4080 is bottlenecked by 13900k in 1080p. That's no bueno, we need stronger CPUs to keep up with 4080/4090 and 7900XTX respectively

7. I got the 7800x3d with a 6600xt and its a stable 360fps on fortnite dx12. insane cpu. i dont have enough for a 4080 yet so its still a tiny bit stuttery with the 6600xt but better than my 5600g

10. Whey the cpu's and gpu's usage are so low? cpu in 25% or 30% and gpu not much higher than 50% most of the time?????? What is causing that?

13. Im so curious how far we can push this. For example, upgrading to an X670E board with a 5th gen SSD. Also, I read that installing 4 sticks of dual memory also increase fps, but more importantly decreases drops, such as the 1% and 0.1% fps drops.
