  12. Can I use the same method to get security updates? Let's say updating my phone to android 13, September 23 security update. I just bought a new pixel 7, and for some reason, system updates is not working, it just shows 'installing system updates', however, even after waiting overnight no updates were installed.

    I have a Pixel 4a 5g Root android 13 if I flash the boot img of factory Android 14 I can sideload Android 14 OTA and flash boot img modified to stay Root ?

  14. This info is outdated. Sideloading an OTA update via android recovery on the Pixel phones does not require you to enable Developer mode nor USB debugging. Just get the OTA file and the adb tools software and reboot the phone in recovery. Select the option to update via ADB and issue the adb command on your PC to upload the file. Again, enabling developer mode is NOT required.
