  1. Hi Ed, I just purchased a 2018 Nissan Leaf and I notice that blutooth audio works very well Pandora, TIDAL etc… but when using any music app through Apple CarPlay it contionusly stutters. Very frustrating, any ideas? I'm new to CarPlay but not to the iPhone. Is this a known problem? I'm hoping there is a simple solution, audio is a big deal for me and if I can't get audio working then CarPlay is pretty much worthless to me. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

  2. Thanks for this. I’m an apple user but see the benefits of android. But the marketing works… my iPad, Apple Watch and air tags all dictate I’ll replace my iPhone with another iPhone.

  3. I wonder why Apple insists on having the base applications on the opening page, regardless as to whether the user uses them or not? It is the one reason why I do not use Apple CarPlay. For example, if you don’t use Apple Music, why should you be forced to have an icon on your screen? It serves no purpose right?

  4. Love apple CarPlay but one question I have is how do I make it alert me to new incoming text messages. I can send texts wonderfully, but when I receive a text I receive absolutely no announcement that I have a new incoming text….
    Any ideas?
