  1. Hello. I live in Spain and am trying to order the new Model 3 but Tesla won’t allow the use of a referral code to do so. Just FYI Ryan. I’m subscribed and watch all your videos 👍

  2. NO, the Model S Plaid is not the quickest production car 0-60 anymore. Here are four that can beat it:
    1.66 Dodge Challenger Demon 170
    1.74 Rimac Nevera
    1.79 Pininfarina Batista
    1.9 Koenigsegg Gemera

  3. FSD is 7500 € here in Germany, enhanced Autopilot is 3800 € . About the only bit that‘s cheaper here than in US. Non white colours still cost extra for the Model 3 but not for the Model S.

  4. I just got the recent software update on my Tesla Model 3, here is some of the information provided to Full Self Driving customers — "release notes 2023.7.30":

    – Improved short-deadline lane changes, to avoid going off-route, through better modeling of target lane vehicles to improve gap selection assertiveness.

    – Improved handling of oncoming cars on narrow unmarked roads by improving prediction of oncoming car's trajectory and leaving enough room for them to pass before re-centering.

    – Improved VRU (?) control by Expanding planning scope to control gently for low-confidence detections that may interfere with ego's path.

IF YOU CAN EXPLAIN HOW THIS IS DONE, ACTUALLY PROGRAMMED I'LL GIVE YOU A DOWNPAYMENT ON YOUR NEW TESLA! (Except TeslaShaw!)

  5. My assumption on why the US doesn't have it is that the highland uses new batteries not produced in the US and therefor would make the highland not eligible for the tax credit. I would imagine miraculously on Jan 1 after the tax credit expires the highland M3 will come out.

  6. The new Model 3 looks more aggressive and that is a very very good thing. Because Tesla is known for these type of price drops in the past, anyone who complains should take some responsibility . Yes, it is weird. I agree that it is overall a good thing for the consumer and marketplace.

  7. Its actually CCS 2 which is pretty standard for the world outside of the North America. Its much better than CCS 1 as seen in the USA. So it makes sense to start with CCS 2 in Shanghai.

  8. It's silly to worry about price frustrations. For cars sold at dealers, the prices on the same day in the same city can be wildly different.

  9. I’d be tempted using the shift buttons from the roof regularly than from the screen if available all the time. Tesla’s decisions around the steering wheel area have been horrible in the last few years.

  10. US got CyberTruck, Europe got Tesla Model 3 (highland) – so it is fair 😉
Reality is, it is impossible to synchronize two different gigaFabs in two very different countries, besides it does not make sense to ramp-up a new product which is heavily modified before seeing a bit of real production issues as well as some customer feedback… The last point is to do with those very attractive tax and state incentives which exist almost only in US, Tesla wants to harness as much as sales possible with the old Model 3.

  11. It’s actually really cool to see Tesla showing the car and other countries I see it is a really smart business and marketing move because the hype is just gonna build up outside of the US and then when it comes that’s basically all anyone’s gonna be focused on can’t wait for it to see if i was right

  12. The rear touchscreen is pretty useless. They should have put the extra screen behind the steering wheel. That's what people want. Nobody is watching Netflix on that new screen, it's too awkwardly placed for long term viewing. Any family that can afford a new Tesla is a family where each kid will already have a tablet. No need for the awkwardly placed screen.

  13. I also think a model 3 PLAID would be awesome, but what will that make out of the Model S? and if we get model 3 plaid, Model y Plaid would come soon after, and what would make that out of the model X? … I think they will still release only 2 motors on 3 and Y , but release a more powerfull 6 faze motor and call it Ludicrous Speed package, leaving the 6 faze dual motor for plaid to the S and X , but i wander how efficient you can make a 6 faze normal engine, unlike Koenigsegg's Dark Matter that is used to aid the combustion motor in reverse and low-ish speeds.

  14. For the steering wheel, there is a missing button on the left hand side, I really hope (yet I don’t think it will happen) that they will add an action button that u can program to any action for a quick way to activate a feature/function

  15. Here’s the interesting about the FSD software. Even if it becomes more expensive down the road, why would a person want FSD on an older car with a weaker computer and cameras?? It’s only normal to think the cameras and computer chips on these cars 5 years from now will be a 100 times better?

I think it’s better to wait later to purchase, when it’s bullet proof.

  16. They need to provide an option for proper indicators on stalks. I’m keeping my old model S and looking at other options now. The indicators on the steering are a dealbreaker.

  17. Tesla is really treating customers poorly. To keep changing prices on their models is terrible for current owners who have supported Tesla. Many people buy cars with an expectation of the value of the car at the end of a time period when they choose to replace it. Since Tesla has made such a dramatic drop in price, the value of their asset has plummeted. There is no good excuse to do this to their customer base in my opinion. If they want to lower the price of one of their models they should provide a temporary incentive sale price but not permanently lower the price of the vehicle itself. It is true they don’t have a dealer network and sell their cars directly to the public but it is still doing a big disservice to it’s existing customer base.

  18. FSD in the future (8-10 years after release) will be like Microsoft Windows is now: you can get it almost for free. So, the "price increase over time" is just not true IMO.

  19. Collectively, these changes are hard not to endorse enthusiastically. However, I'm not a fan of the big "TESLA" shout on the back. If that badge doesn't make it obvious that it's a Tesla, you probably don't care.

  20. FSD Options – Autolane Change while on CruiseControl – STD, Basic Auto Pilot – $2000 – Full AutoPilot – $5000 and call it a day… honestly do not see the value of the Full AutoPilot paid the $199 for a while and it was okay but not earth shattering. Let me know when you can say Tesla take me to Costco and the car does its thing, with only minimal interaction like watching where you are going only. Ditch the “touch the wheel thing.”

  21. Price cuts affect different buyers differently. Someone on the edge of purchasing may jump on it. Spectators will wait and watch. The game is to pick a price that will keep the factory at peak output no matter what. As between big jumps or small steps I believe that small steps are worse because it will condition buyers to wait for more.

  22. Swipe forward to go forward, I know that sounds logical initially, but swiping DOWN to go forward makes a lot more sense, just like pulling down on the stalk for drive did. Saying that, what is even more logical, is well, a stalk.
