Cool video. You dont think the 40 megapixel images are an upgrade over previous iPhones? I think it's a massive upgrade. However, I kept my 13 Pro and waiting until they upgrade the telephoto camera on the 15.

Comparing a cell phone camera to a DSLR or Mirrorless is pointless. A cell phone with a lens that's half the size of a fingertip is NEVER gonna outperform a proper, big lens on a DSLR or mirrorless camera. That's like saying ''well my Nissan Micra got me to work, but it has a long way to go to match the performance of a Ferrari F40.. The first one was not designed to outperform the second one.

The iPhone 14 has major capabilities however, I still think a good DSLR or Mirrorless camera produces better overall quality, color, tone, bokeh etc.
I really cant see the point of turning up to a photo shoot with a mobile phone as your camera
With the theory that the best camera is the one you have on you, I am thinking about getting the newest iPhone. I definitely get some strange looks running errands with an slr.
Excellent review. It really shows for me that a traditional camera for portrait photography still is the best option.
It shoots a lot faster in RAW if you switch to 12 megapixels. Just another option! 🙂
