  1. I'm considering selling my P7P 512GB and just picking up the 6a with my store credit. I can barely tell any reasonable difference between the shots. More than enough space included and I have unlimited photo back up with my T-Mobile plan anyway.

  2. I noticed the P6 Pro struggled and was stuttering at frame 3:00 when panning. My P6 does the same when shooting 4K 30 fps. It actually seems to do better shooting 4K 60 fps until it gets hot 😕

  3. Quality on the pro is better all around as expected. The one area in finding it to be the biggest upgrade is in depth of field, though. You can get some shaving bokeh from the main shooter (let alone the telephoto) on the pro. Not seeing that on the 6a

  4. I really like your videos, but i really want to know if pixel 6 pro now in August is a rational purchase ( also considering the bugs many had ) because my old s9plus is gonna die soon enough and i want to get an android around 1000€. The important things for me are camera and battery life. Also do you think i would get a good trade in value with pixel 7 pro if i purchase the 6 pro now ?

A response would be greatly appreciated <3

  5. The 6Pro is better overall, but not by much. Definitely not 2x$ better. Without side to side comparison, you might not be able to tell which is which in most cases. Unless you appreciate having the latest cutting edge google camera, other factors should help you choose between the two (especially cost).

It's becoming harder and harder these days to distinguish the photo and video quality of the cheaper phones vs the more expensive ones.

    I got the #Pixel6Pro recently for $449 ($699 marked-down deal minus $250 older phone trade-in ).

That's really the most I pay for a device.

I upgraded from the #Pixel4a5G which I love due to its size. But these days I needed something more premium.

  7. Some of the telephoto shots are crops from the main sensor.
    1:17 , 1:41
The tele lens cannot focus closer than about 3-4 feet and will switch to the main lens. I've taken enough pictures with this phone to see the quality difference. The pineapple is also way too close to get a tele shot.

  8. If I didn’t already have the Pro, I would’ve gotten this and saved some $$. Much more manageable form factor, and improved finger print scanner. Worth the trade off in my opinion.

  9. This is a perfect comparison I was waiting for.
Too bad Google improved ultrawide on Pixel 6a 😀 otherwise it would really be a battle of computation power vs. limitation of hardware.
BTW, the new ultrawide is not just wider, but more detailed as well.
When I look at day samples, I can see less noise on wide samples and a tiny bit of more detail + different depth of field on some close-ups photos.
I had Pixel 5 with the same wide sensor 6a has, but they do not feel as close as 6a to 6 Pro does. It really seems better SOC unlocked better image quality.

  10. There is not much difference other than the telephoto lens and the natural dof one gets in closeup shots on 6 pro .. which is due to larger sensor.
