1. What a fkn clown, I own a Tesla model y, worst purchase decision ever. Real range is about 260 miles, not 330, if you want to spend 40mins every other day at charging station and spend $20k on a new battery pack at $150k miles than go buy this POS car.

2. To call the Model Y an SUV is a joke. Its nothing but a 4 door hatchback. The only way to get some decent interior space for hauling is to turn it into a 2 seat hatch back. The author also neglected to point out that of those 50K chargers world wide, only about half of them are working at any time.

4. You can easily remove one of the 5 annoying things about your Tesla. On road trips, run the battery down to 10-15% and then charge it up to 70-80%. Then continue your drive to the next charger. You will add a few stops to your trip but each stop will be much quicker. I can go from 10% to 70% in about 25 minutes at a V3 supercharger. It is a waste of time to charge above 80% unless you need the extra charge to make it to the next charger but that is rare.

7. Teslas aren’t very well made with horrid panel gaps, hoods that don’t fit, squeaky, ratty ride and a frustrating user interface. The Model Y is by far the best built and the new (upcoming) Model 3 is apparently much better than the current version. Also, Tesla stopped publishing scheduled maintenance information in 2019, leaving it to customers to know when their vehicle needs service.

There have been a lot of documented studies on it, and drag coefficient is almost negligible due to car shape, fuel consumption primarily being correlated directly with the largest cross section of surface area. The drag coefficient only starts to matter when you're looking at large trucks (semis) and supercars/race cars. It might also matter if you're trying to squeeze out every ounce of performance for track driving, but drag would make small difference regardless.

11. So you are the a*hole that "parks" in CHARGING stalls and thinks they are for special EV "parking" NOT, and charges in the trailer stalls meant for those who are pulling a TRAILER moron and tenting of any type is illegal here in the states.
