  1. My ASUS Transformer TF101 tablet.
The screen is not lighting up
but if you plug the HDMI cable into a TV
the touch screen and all features work
it only appears on the TV and not the Tablet.
    i check all conections.

  2. Do you think this will work for the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA 8.0 ? I can't seem to find anyone nearby who works on this unit. Does it use unique parts as well? Glass and digitizer might both be damaged (glass is cracked).

  3. HI Tampatec. I think i have this same problem on my tablet (outside warranty) except my model is slightly different and i can't figure out how i might get the screen off. i have the asus transformer pad trio, model TX201L. ever seen this one or have any ideas how to get it open? the pc (dock station still works just the tablet part/screen is no longer working). thx!

  4. I had to change my display after my roomates broke it by dropping the tablet down. After they bought a new display and they changed it, this new one cannot work once you shut down the tablet. Basically what you have to do is, connect the old, broken display, turn it on, and then connect the new one and place it where it belongs… anything I can do about it ?

  5. Thanks for this! I watched like three other videos before this one and none of them mentioned the latches on the bottom, I thought I was crazy because I couldn't get the display to come off. Finally found yours and slid the latches over and it immediately came apart and I was able to get the display working again.

  6. I have 2 Nextbook Ares 8 tablets. One was dropped and the display was ruined so I salvaged the circuit board that has the charger ports attached to it since the other port was loose and wouldn't charge. Now that everything is hooked up, it charges, but when I power it on the screen turns on and is black. Is this because it was dropped? I've reset the battery and set the ribbons as snug as I could. Any insight would be appreciated

  7. hi Tampatec. If you're still willing to answer a question on this older video; I have a similar device a Transformer Book t100. The digitizer screen got cracked and I took it to a repair shop to be fixed. They fixed the digitizer but in the process the LCD no longer works. They made good and got us a new one but I decided to try and repair the old one myself. After taking the tablet apart, I discovered that the black connector that holds the wire from the LCD and onto the motherboard has broken and some of the wires are exposed. Can this be easily repaired? Digitizer works as does HDMI out to another monitor.

  8. I have an ASUS Transformer tablet. The glass digitizer touch screen was broken when it was dropped. It wouldn't even show it had power after that. I replaced the glass digitizer screen. Now I can see that it has power but that is it. Nothing comes up on the screen. Got any suggestions for me. I hope. I'm getting desperate here. Thanks.

  9. dude I enjoy your videos but you keep showing just that one tablet, my tablet does not have the lock things on the sides, all it has are the SD card slot, headphone jack, and Charger port, so how am I supposed to open it?????

  10.
