I think it’s fair to say that I’ve had a Galaxy Note in my Pocket for the past 10 years. Fine, 9 if we were to consider that I laughed at the first one, but you know you did too. It was hard to even consider such a large phone, at a time when one-handed use dominated smartphone design.. And yet, have you noticed how that quickly faded away after?
Thing is, ever since Generation 2, and even through the fiery times of the Galaxy Note 7, this lineup quickly went from mockery, to the one product I would always go back to, regardless of what phone I was reviewing. I know for some, the appeal of this phone was its size and for others the endurance, but for me it was actually what it could do. See, even if stylus input wasn’t new, most companies got it all wrong before the Note. For Palm and Pocket PC it was all about navigation, while Samsung followed on WACOM’s ideal of a pen that could either blend with existing content, or help you create it.
Now, what’s ironic is that this isn’t a video about a Galaxy Note. Sadly it seems that lineup is officially dead. Samsung has spent a good deal of time exporting its Note DNA to its other assets, all while turning a different phone into a more powerful Note. This is the Galaxy S22 Ultra, what Samsung calls a Note-Worthy new look, and what I’m gonna call my favorite Galaxy Note Ever, but for reasons that really contradict its purpose. I’m Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and let me explain why in our full review.

This is a great review. Thank you sir. I know I'm late to the game but I have a tough time escaping the Apple Ecosystem even though I really want to. This may help me to do so. Also, which watch are you using? Thanks!
Hi! Please can you tell me what is the app with which you use your s pen to hilight words?
Swaped my 11 pro max for S22 ultra! Very happy!! What watch r u using? galaxy watch?
You can get a S22 ultra 512 gb on ebay for less than 600 dollars
So how do you change the photo file size for emailing purposes
Haha wonderful
Hi, Recently bought this Beast & I'm facing this weird camera issue, When clicked with 3ร times optical portrait, the face looks slightly fatty & when clicked with single zoom face looks slightly thin & vertically stretched, visible when compared side by side.
Other issue is display colors are less saturated & not color pop out when compared to 3 time cheaper devices like ONEPLUS, POCO F3 GT & Moto G82,
Tried Vivid mode & all but there's no other option to tweak the more saturation.
Let me know if there's any solution for camera issue.
Picked up the $1399 S22 Ultra 512GB/12GB for….$599 from Verizon!!! They gave me $800 for my S20 FE 5G!
I just got an email that I can get a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 256gb of storage trading in my Samsung S7 for just $399.
MrMobile Michael Fisher all the time… but not now…
Honestly it depends what colors of photos people like. Some people can say iPhone is more natural and some donโt.
The phone is a note
Trying to get a new phone been note fam and my fam is note also. The wife has the 10 the kid has the 8 and i have the 20, thinking of upgrading but i don't like the new phone so I'm hoping this is the next one to get
Imagine if the fold 4 got released with the Note name. Or maybe even the Galaxy Note Book
Shame no SD card slot ๐ณ!
I'll stick to my Note 20 โ Ultra!
Big mistake by Samsung to remove additional storage. ๐ข
There will never be another true Galaxy Note if a successor like the S22 Ultra lacks a MicroSD card, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a removable battery.
ive always used a note i did try the fold 2 loved it but just not practical with 2 young boys however now debating selling my tab s4 my note 10 plus and getting the fold z3 and having 1 device what we think is better the ultra or the fold
I switched from galaxy s9 to s22ultra..and definitely using s22ultra is like another dimension, this phone is so smooth, fast and usefull in many areas..i am daytrader and this phone has lot of features that make trading much better experience..from spen to multitasking options, its just a great companion..great phone if u ask me..
No micro sd- = useless. Loose everything!
Ive had a note 4, Galaxy s10e and currently the Note 20 U. I'm not going to 'need' to upgrade for at least another year, if not more. However I'm on the fence on whether to go for a 'note' phone or a fold phone when I finally do.
I think it will all come down to the options available at the time, however if I were to upgrade right now, at this stage in foldable development, I'd have to go the s22 ultra.
Made me miss my Note II. That tank lasted me a solid 5 years before slowing down.
I'll never understand how people cope with a phone the size of a toy car. You have two hands so why do you need a phone that you operate with one?
In India new 45 watt Samsung EP- T4510 charger still not available.
Some Samsung retailers advised me to buy 25 watt charger instead of old 45 watt charger for S22 Ultra, because of less heat & better battery health. Is it true ? Or should I go with old 45 Watt charger ?
Still hoping for a Note with an SD card slot, Head phone jack, and OK I admit it I still want a user replaceable battery too! I know I'm telling my age here right? Good video!
Damn, seeing Michel Fisher in a PocketNow video feels so nostalgic. The good old days.
Like button smashed ๐
I remember watching you guys on Pocketnow when I got my very first Galaxy S with the hard aluminum back and you guys got me into tech. I kept my Note 8 with expandable storage through ATT while using most lately an unlocked S21 Ultra over wifi.
Just upgraded to the 22 Ultra and the word Phatblet started a slide reel of memories over the years going all the way back to Palm OS.
Great to see we finally got the perfect Note we all dreamt about back in the HTC days
Always the best review๐๐๐๐๐๐
