OnePlus 11 Review | Turned Up To 11?

Reviewing the OnePlus 11, a 2023 flagship phone sporting upgraded camera tech, serious gaming performance and strong battery life. If you’re after a do-it-all smartphone to rival the Pixel 7 Pro and for less cash than Samsung’s S23 Ultra, the OnePlus 11 is definitely worth considering.

I’ve used this handset as my full-time phone for just over a week, so here’s my final verdict. Check out my other reviews of the biggest and best mobiles right now!

This 6.7-inch Android 13 blower serves up premium specs including an LTPO 3.0 display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 5000mAh battery with 100W charging. While the OnePlus 11 may not be as quick as the 10T at powering back up, the performance is beefier and the camera is upgraded to Sony’s IMX890. I certainly got some good photos and video out of this phone during my week with it.

And while OxygenOS 13 isn’t too different from ColorOS, it’s still an enjoyable launcher that adds some nifty features to the OnePlus 11. So are you tempted? Let us know below!

  1. I bought this phone yesterday. But i am having a problem with the vibration intensity. Even reducing the vibration intensity doesn't reduce it. anyone facing the same problem? and any solution? Would be much appreciated. Thank you

  2. USB 2.0, no wireless charging, boring colors*, OIS only on the main camera, only a 2x telephoto, IP64 rated and no 512GB U.S. variant (why this segmentation between the U.S. and Global variant?!?!). Also they're still sticking to the hole punch selfie camera even after all the praise they got from the amazing OnePlus 7 Pro with the popup camera.

I understand they're trying to cut costs to go back to their flagship killer status… But they put UFS 4.0 on this phone only to put a 20+ year old USB standard for data transfer on it… Does no one think that's absolutely absurd to have the fastest internal storage only to have USB 2.0 speeds when transferring data over a cable?

I still love this phone, yes even after all that complaining I still bought it!! $649 for the maxed spec U.S. variant which is a killer deal, but if OnePlus releases a phone that's similar to the 8 Pro and 7 Pro, I'm upgrading.

Good review as always, usually I never comment, but I have such a love hate relationship with this phone that I wanted to post about it. Cheers!

    * As for the colors, it is subjective, but I miss their beautiful colors… Ultramarine blue and Glacial Green are two good examples, both on the Oneplus 8 Pro I believe. They're just adopting these boring colors to try and fit in with Apple and Samsung's flagships and I'm definitely not for it.

  3. I'm considering getting one. I've never had a OnePlus before but I'd never also had a Google phone like my Pixel 7 Pro now and I enjoy the Google phone but I'm tempted by the 16gb of RAM on the OnePlus and the price isn't bad though it's half the storage of my Google phone but I've only used 100GB of memory so there's plenty left over.

  4. I also noticed that if you set it to max settings or save battery or graphics, it still consumes the battery!? Honestly, my Nord 2 was draining the battery more slowly with the same usage…

  5. My OnePlus 11 (two weeks old) was charged today around 9 am… After 10 hours of work (tik tok, youtube, facebook (short videos)) the battery level is at 40 percent… Maybe it could have been better… I expected a little more though…
