Does anyone know if unlocking FPS screws up any game logic / mechanics that could be tied to 60 FPS?
"Just how demanding it is" yeah – it doesn't look that great TBH for being "demanding" lol. I think the word you're looking for is terribly optimized. Ray tracing was a shoddily implemented afterthought in this game. Compare this to something like Cyberpunk? Get out of here lol.
How did you unlock the fps, please?? I simply can't do it.

one of the worst RT implementations i ever see, it even looks horrible bad, the shadow pop in is so bad.
for how good they can design their games, From always are some of worst when it comes to performance. You can select the lowest settings, play on the lowest resolution and have fps drops into 40s when certain spell effects are used.
Try running the game at 60fps like the devs intended lol it helps with CPU load a lOT 😉

Not sure if it's me, but as I have been playing Elden with HDR the colours seem a little flat in the video, I was expecting RT to give it more punch. Not sure if you have HDR enabled?
If you do, have you used the Windows HDR calibration tool for the monitor?
Would you test this but in Liurnia ?

This is why capcom is way far superior when it comes to their games. They take their time optimizing their games and has franchises than fromsoft could ever make. Monster hunter demolishes all of fromsofts games off the park and is far better looking and more polished.
Wow raytracing looks mid with this game. Both on PC and ps5 it look’s atrocious with rt on. Don’t even know why would fromsoft go in that field when they can’t even optimize their games properly.
Looks nice in the right areas. (Caves, Sunset, Sunrise..) But Raytracing makes no sense without DLSS. They should have start with unlocking the Framecap of 60 FPS (still so lol 🤣) and Support of Ultrawide Screens. Then Adding DLSS, then FrameGen, and at the very End on the Road… Raytracing…

I had to drop my resolution to 1440p just to maintain 60fps on my 4080 at max settings with RT enable
This is the WORST RT in any game. You don't get beautifull game, you get unplayable game! What is meaning RT to this game? I do not see it, and you?
