The latest data from Taiwan’s physical channels compiled by a market research agency revealed the top 20 best-selling mobile phone models in the country in November. Excluding 9 models that were Apple iPhones, among the 11 best-selling Android phones, mid-range and entry-level models were still the most popular. Mainly, the only two high-end flagship phones on the list are Galaxy S23 Ultra (12GB/256GB) and Galaxy Z Flip5 (8GB/256GB).
The most favorite Android phone brand among Taiwanese users is Samsung, which covers all price levels. The best-selling model is the mid-range Galaxy A54 (8GB/256GB). This series has complete specifications and has long been the best-selling Android phone in Taiwan, ranking second. It is OPPO’s mid-to-high-end model Reno10 Pro, which features cameras and fast charging.
In this list, there are only two flagship phones on the list, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip5. The former has the best specifications and camera effects of Android, and its current price has dropped by more than 10,000 yuan, making it the sweet spot for many consumers. As for the foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip5, its unique appearance has attracted many people to buy it, making it the most popular phone in history. A hot seller.
In terms of brands, Samsung has 7 models on the list, OPPO has 2 models, and the rest are one model each from vivo and Xiaomi. Excluding the two flagship phones, the current channel prices are all around 10,000 yuan, which shows that most Android consumers still consider budget and focus on cost-effectiveness.
