9. My Iphone 11 fell on the river when we were swimming but i got it out in less than 5 minutes. It doesn't have any cracks or dents or whatever and it's also less than 2 years old but it got damaged. I'm gonna have it checked tomorrow cos my face id doesn't work anymore and earlier it keeps on boot looping. I know having it fixed is not cheap though. 😔

13. Put it in the toaster oven till it gets to 120 deg Fahrenheit. Take it out and let it sit until room temp again. If still wet – wash, rinse, repeat.

19. My iPhone 13 fell into deep-ish water and I immediately got it out. Since this fits scenario 2 I should be fine right? Just to be sure I'll keep it off for a bit. Fortunately it seems like the sim is dry. I panicked a bit but thanks for reassuring me!

30. Buy another one that’s what I did.
    My 256gb IPhone 12 Pro Max got water damaged. I threw it in the trash and turned around and bought an IPhone 11 128gb from Newegg, and after that purchased a IPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB. I’m using that now.

34. I just dropped my refurbed Iphone 11 pro in the pool no deeper than 2 metter and I caught it as soon as it touched the bottom of the pool. right after face id got disabled. So now it's turned off with a bag of silica inside a plastic bag. this phone is 1 month old
