The Pixel Watch 2 has better battery life and performance this year. In a lot of ways, it’s a compelling buy but I would also look at the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic!

  1. I've said it before and will again, the flow of this video is just perfect. I appreciate the tech review even if I don't plan on getting the tech. I like seeing what other companies are doing and you highlight so many good points in these reviews. Your energy level is always at a 10 which may be due to the copious amounts of Java lol. Great video as always

  4. I hope the first Gen Pixel Watch for Christmas and after it was updated the battery is all day! It has nice features and it's not all that slow at least for me but then I haven't compared it to the Pixel Watch 2. I'm one of those people that thinks his fingerprint sensor on his Pixel 6 works fine as well so that should tell you something. Haha but it's a great review and I wouldn't mind getting the 2 or when this wears out, they'll probably have the Pixel Watch 3 and I'll get that. I'm surprised we how good it is for old tech and it's unlocked LTE so maybe I'll pair that with my carrier. I wish mine had auto workout detection. I dunno if it does but I'll look into it.

  11. I hate subscriptions too but at least at first you got 6 months free Fitbit on the Pixel Watch or maybe that's the first one? They're pulling and Apple figuring that if you have the money for a smart watch you must have the money for a subscription. I mean, they might not be wrong in some, even most cases but then that could be a stretch too. Maybe it would work out to pair a Galaxy Watch with a Pixel but you won't get get full features like AFib detection without side loading an APK like i did once, which is risky. I enjoyed the content and wouldn't mind one but I'm just using the Google fit app which has some nice features of its own that are almost never talked about and yeah, def don't jog at night unless you go with two Doberman's or something.

  16. Easiest tech videos to watch. Definitely appreciate the effort put into it. Assuming you already noticed, but at around 1:02 it feels like either you're using a narrative device that's going over my head, or there may have been some "sequencing" edits that came out a little rough. Keep up all the hard work!

  20. About the subscription…Fitbit Premium gives you workouts like what Apple Fitness+ provides, which you have to pay a subscription for as well.

    Also, you don't miss much without Fitbit Premium, it gives you some extra data but you still have quite a bit in-depth data.

    This is something many YouTubers seem to fail to explain well, and I think it's cause they haven't tried it without FitBit Premium and they think most of the data they get is because Fitbit Premium

  31. I'm with you I don't want to pay a subscription just to be able to use my tech

    The fact that many companies are going to "subscriptions" means they're half baking their products and or services

    Subscriptions to watch video content on platforms like Netflix Paramount Plus Disney Plus Apple TV+ etc are one thing

    Subscriptions to software like Windows or Adobe Creative Cloud is over the line

    I get that these companies are trying to make money but cutting corners is half baking their quality of products and or services

  33. Nice RW review. I ditched the Android Wear stuff for a Huawei Watch 3 years ago, and have just upgraded to another. All you can't do is any voice assistant or reply from the watch in full. However, a full health suite, sleep tracking, notifications, smooth (glitch-free) software, great looks – and I get 7 full days battery. I'll never go back all the time Huawei produce watches like this.

I don’t know why google called it a pixel watch when it’s more Fitbit at least apple only charge you extra if you want to have fitness classes rather than charging you for most of your exercise tracking including other features after having a google pixel watch i can honestly say I prefer my Apple Watch
