According to reports, mid-range phones will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or MediaTek Dimensity 9300 starting from the middle of the year.
According to Chinese media reports, mid-range mobile phones using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 are expected to be launched in June and July this year. The specific brands are not yet known. Compared with previous years, products with similar positioning only debuted in the second half of the year or near the end of the year, and are expected to debut earlier this year.
Although Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 are both built using the more expensive TSMC N4P process, foreign media “wccftech” analyzed that considering the sales volume of mid-range mobile phones, Qualcomm is expected to give preferential prices. In addition, in order to compete with MediaTek Dimensity 9300 competition, the two major Android chip manufacturers are likely to lower their prices to seize more market share, allowing consumers to benefit simultaneously and buy more cost-effective mobile phones.
