  1. Shane thanks so much for this… it's really a game changer! I never knew it was there before your video. now I already have like 5 routines for orientation lock on outer screen, battery management and warnings and home unlock…it's great

  2. I tried the routine to split the audio on my Fold 4 and it just doesn't work. Audio still just goes through the Bluetooth speakers in the car…. It says its working, but it isn't…

  3. This is awesome! I know this probably isnt your niche but I am desperate for a way to use NFC tags to work with Google home. There are tons of videos using the Apple Shortcuts or Home Assistant but I don't have either. I use Tuya, Google Home and my Fold. I have a Tuya hub and I don't want to dish out the money for a smart things hub. Think Modes and Routines might be an option?

  4. I remember years ago on my Windows phone being able to geofence my home alarm, garage door and lights with an app and I know it sounds petty and lazy but it was great coming down the street, lights on, garage door open and alarm set to entry until I coded in on the kitchen pad. Smart should actually be smart. I'd rather have practical apps and functions over a 3 way mega camera phone any day. I use my phone cam to take pictures of my dogs lol…. Not looking for MEGAPIXEL dog pics.

  5. Samsung renamed Bixby Routines to Modes and Routines in OneUI 5 to avoid confusion (and encourage adoption, I suspect!) for people who don't use Bixby.

  6. I love Bixby Routines!

I have a night charging routine too: If connected to [my home wifi] and battery is above 25% and time is between 8PM and 4AM, turn off fast charging. That way, it fast charges if I'm getting close to not having a full battery tomorrow, or if my battery is almost dead, or if I'm travelling (and not connected to home wifi) but as soon as none of those special cases are true, it slow charges and brings me to 100% at a relaxed pace, keeping temps and battery stress down.

I have others that trigger on car bluetooth and disconnect from the house so Google Maps doesn't get confused.
