3. Honestly, there's no reason for me to upgrade from ipad mini 6. Ipad mini 6 is definitely not perfect, but that's because of iOS limitations. I prefer android to iOS, but every android mini tablet are "half-assedly" made.

4. I purchased the iPad mini and will be returning it. The Touch ID makes the iPad feel broken once you are use to Face ID on the iPad Pros.
   I feel I am trying to perform telekinesis on the iPad and it just doesn’t work.

Imho inless you really need the power to run a game you already have that is sluggish which i haven't found any mobile games to have that issue i would wait for i pad mini 8 atleast imho only worth it if your a gamer then again im being bias here for sure ill probably wait until they add rtx to mini but i doubt that will happen anytime soon.

7. Agreed. I have the mini 6 and it’s fantastic. Especially for travel. I also have the iPad Pro 12.9 with M1 chip. Nothing I do stresses its hardware so not getting a new one any time soon.

   The only way I get a new mini is if it has pro-motion or a new iPad Pro, if it can be used as an external monitor.

   Apple could generate popular and increased sales of tablets if they made their top tier models for gaming. Newest and popular indie games can run a potato pc. A iPad can def run most of them. There’s a constant need for hardware bumps year after year for gaming. You don’t need the lastest or greatest chip set and gaming gpu to check emails, browse the web, use it as a e-reader and watch YouTube which most ppl use iPads for.

8. Thank you for being so informative. I’m new to Apple after switching from high-end android devices to a iPhone 13 mini this past September. I have an old Samsung galaxy tab E, which, as you can imagine is slower than walking through knee-deep mud. However, it’s still does work adequately. I’m considering the iPad mini six to supplement my iPhone. Cheers!

9. 8.8 inch with smaller bezels, OLED screen, brighter screen, and 128gb as the base. Pro Motion and Face ID would probably make the pricing crazy and too close to the iPad Air series. If they gave me this I’d buy one.

22. I'm very, very, very happy with my iPad Mini 6. Worth the wait for an iPad Mini 7? At this point, with the release of the Mini 7 getting closer, might as well wait.

24. I got the iPad Mini 6 about 7 months after it was released. I love it and it's one of my favorite devices. Am I thinking about upgrading? No. I can't see any major updates besides a faster processor, better screen, better battery life, etc. But with a good processor, a good screen, and good battery life on the Mini 6, I can't see myself upgrading. But, that's not to say that I don't recommend purchasing the iPad Mini 7 when it does come out. Apple has a good product with the Mini 6, and they only need to sharpen the saw with the iPad 7.

28. Mini 7 should have:
    1. 120hz (Apple won’t do this)
    2. Lidar and basic camera upgrade (Apple won’t do this)
    3. A17 Pro or M1 (realistically A16)
    4. Cellular with calls (really needed, but a long shot)

    All in all, apple will only upgrade the processor and possibly the display to pro motion, usb might get upgraded to 3.2

To answer your question about who the 10th generation iPad is for: it's for people like me, I just bought one because I wanted to have ease of access to write down notes in my class as well as to draw and the reason I went with that one is because it was significantly cheaper (on black friday) than the iPad air and it had USB C charging which as an android user makes it really easy for me to not have to fumble around with different charging cables

31. I’ve just bought one and it was delivered yesterday! I am aware there could be a new one very soon but I’ve also seen just as many reports say it won’t be until the end of 2024, so we’ll see. Either way, I’ve heard it won’t be a massive upgrade, with the A16 Bionic chip being the highlight. I am usually cautious about when I buy new products so I guess I’ve surprised myself this time!

    I’ve got to say though, this is the iPad I’ve been needing for years and I’m so annoyed with myself for waiting so long to get it. What a tablet! As someone who has always thought the iPad is best served as a device for media consumption, I don’t think you can get better than the Mini with its small form factor that’s a breeze to place on your lap or use one handed.

    I’ve only had mine 24 hours but it’s the perfect bridge between my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my MacBook Air M2. Each device has its own purpose for me and despite my iPhone not being that much smaller than my new iPad, I don’t think I’ve ever used it for media consumption other than short social media clips. This iPad is fantastic to watch YouTube videos on, films on Prime, and use for social media. So far I’ve been really impressed with the battery life, too, and the design is gorgeous.

    I can see why Apple are rumoured to only be planning on minor upgrades for the 7th generation. This is the winning formula right here.

    The screen is obviously small and it’s pretty awful to type on, but for emails, producing documents or even just long web browsing sessions, I use my MacBook. I’ve also noticed the lack of Promotion coming from my iPhone, but for what I use it for it’s fine.

    Overall, a great tablet. And if you’re like me and feel the iPad is best as a media device and the MacBook best for work, you should love the Mini 6, even as a purchase now.

35. I’m going to take your advice and hold tight until late December or early next year. I would love to have the new iPad mini 7 but If I can get a 6 cheaper I just may buy that one. I use my iPhone 13 Pro right now for work. I’m an insurance inspector and I take alot of photos. So it comes down too the camera and how cheap the iPad mini 6 is.

37. I have the Mini 5 and still love it. I'm waiting for the 7 and will upgrade if the price is right. In other words, I'm not willing to pay $700 for it.

38. 2024 will see the ipad lineup get even more confusing lol. Whats this about a 14 inch they're rumouring as well Mark. On top of that whats the point of a m3 ipad if theres no apps that are taking advantage of it. at least the 11 inch will get oled this time

    Discovered you trying to decide if i should keep the Bose qc ultra or skip to cheaper bose qc45 and I have found an indipendent rewier that is very impressive close to what normal people use every day so thanks so much, help to support your channel and your work. Actually writing from my iPad mini 6 with bose QC ultra on which I am still trying to decide what to do for with 200 euros less i could buy the qc 45 on Amazon. Maybe I will trust you when you say they worth every euros.
    About the iPad i do not have great expect for this year like promotion or 120 hertz but let’s see. I have bought the six this month and its an amazing product for my personal use so I expect to keep it for almost 2 years unless huge chances.
