AMD AM5 Solid CPU and Ram Light, No Post, Possible Solution

i encounted and issue with a B650 Board, which looked like a failed stick of ram turns out it was the CPU that failed

  2. I think I have the same issue, I looked at the 4-pin, 3-wire PC speaker pinout from wikipedia.
    I wonder, can I just use a multimeter instead of a speaker to test if it's a cpu issue or a motherboard issue?

  5. Hey man new to building I just put together a nzxt b650e, 7900x with corsair dominator ram and I can’t get it to post. Tried test each ram one at a time, reseating the cpu, double check all the wiring, clearing the cmos and I’m just stumped. Any suggestions?

  7. The "Wait 5 minutes" for ram to train, reminded me that these new boards are different (or so I've read offhand a few times), and initial boot sometimes needs loads of time to post… Lo and behold, I stuck both sticks in again, then left it for 2 minutes, and it posted. lol.

    Here I was thinking it should post within 5 secs no matter what (like older boards). So I kept trying to re-seat the ram to get that dram light to switch off, so it would post.

    Anyway, it's working now. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂

  10. Hi, thanks for video ! I had the same issue yesterday when I built PC with 7600X and Aorus B650 Elite AX. RAM is Gskill 5600 CL28 XMP. I ordered Corsair 6000 CL36 EXPO to see if it does the same issue. Hope its not CPU…
