  1. Ive been with google for the past 7 years but now I've upgraded from pixel 6 to one plus 11 and fortunately i am enjoying the one plus a lot more than the pixel. Plus, the snapdragon chip feels years ahead from the tensor chip 😅

  2. I will never own a Pixel phone again because of the glitchy updates they push out before they're ready. Never. I'll be buying the 256 version of the OnePlus 11 for $599 this week. 🎉

  3. Frankly, I understand your reasoning and purpose for this video. Still, I think a comparison between the OnePlus 11 and the Google pixel 7 Pro would be far more appropriate. Secondly, whether it's the Google pixel 7 or the 7 Pro you are dealing with a flagship. Conversely, the OnePlus 11 was designed to be a flagship killer. To that end, this is still a lot like comparing an apple to an orange. In fact, I failed to see what price point has to do with anything. Either the device can get it done or it can't.
Strictly speaking, flagship Killers by definition pair away gimmicky secondary features such as wireless charging, power share, IR blasters and meaningless IP certifications that do nothing more than drive up the cost of the device. Instead, flagship Killers focus on things like processing power, memory, build quality and advanced charging technology. Specifically, who really cares about slow inefficient wireless charging that can take up to nearly 3 hours? Especially, when you can have 80 w fast charging and get the chore done in less than half an hour. Personally, I have always found it odd why anyone would deliberately pay up to $200 more for a device to have wireless charging just so it will charge less efficiently. LOL
In all reality, I think the Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra would be a better comparison for the 11 over any pixel. After all, at the heart of the Samsung and the OnePlus lies the Snapdragon eight generation 2 chipset. Currently, that is the best processor you can find in any device. Frankly, the tensor G2 chipset maybe in the same neighborhood but, it is not even close to being on the same street. Simply put, it's just not at the Gen 2 level. Moreover, I have always considered the tensor processors to be kind of a budget flagship processor. They bleed power unnecessarily and have always suffered from heating issues like the other chipsets from the parent company. It may be a custom-built chipset but, it really falls short in those areas. Don't get me wrong, the pixel series phones are solid phones but, they do fall short in that area.
In conclusion, I really feel a smartphone and a smart purchase is all about need versus what you don't need. The oneplus 11 is down and dirty and all about power; flagship killer. Conversely, the Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra is all about having a variety of gimmicky features; flagship. Finally, whether it be the pixel 7 or the 7 Pro you have a flagship with a lot of features like the Samsung but, it really falls short in regards to power to the oneplus; mid-range flagship.

  4. Does it not bug people that Oneplus now uses three different font styles in their frikin UI???? The lock screen font style is stuck to Oppo-Sans and the Statusbar is stuck with Roboto and the original OxygenOS AOD clock styles are stuck with Oneplus Sans. Even if we change the default font to Roboto the lockscreen and the AOD wont follow that. Its weird that no one seems to report that and Oneplus ( more like Oppo ) DOES'NT EVEN CARE!!! I Think people need to bombard oneplus for this inconsistency that has been there since the very beginning of the beta builds.

  5. I really do want to buy a pixel but the battery is so bad, and I'm a heavy user. Charging twice a day at those speeds kills it for me no matter how great it is (and I only believe it to be on par with galaxy and a little behind iphone). The fast charging on OP really is a game changer.

  6. Even with the smaller battery, the Pixel 7 is the best battery life I have had on any android phone I've ever used. The optimization that google provides is top notch

  7. I loved my oneplus 6T for the last 4years and a half, but decided it was finally time to upgrade. Was hesitating between op11, S23 and pixel 7. The fact I could trade in my 6T for a decent 260$ CAD with one plus and that the reviews kinda agree that the OP11 is a good phone tipped the scales. I should receive it today or tomorrow, hope I will like it as much as my 6T
