The Bad System Config Info stop code is a common Windows error that can cause a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). While the system crash and blue screen can seem alarming, the Bad System Config Info error is relatively simple to fix and doesn’t require much technical expertise.

While working on your system, you may suddenly see a blue screen showing BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO error. The error may be caused by incorrect system settings, malicious software, faulty hardware, etc. This stop code contains the bug value of 0xc0000001. This is a serious error that can make the system crash or corrupt your data. There are other similar stop codes that users have encountered:

Before you go on fixing these BSOD errors on your system, you must find out why they occur.
Bad System Config Info is a common bug check error on Windows systems, caused mainly by a malfunctioning of the system and registry files or the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file. Some boot order files in the BCD, or even some older ones, may conflict with newer, stable files. When this happens, the error otherwise known as the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) occurs.
There may be a little more information about the cause of the error. Fixes include updating the system drivers, repairing the Windows registry, and rebuilding the Boot Configuration Data (BCD).

"path not found"
For some that have problem with "path not found" message it's normal, because this method is not for modern EFi installation that has a dedicated partition for the boot.
You need to identify with diskpart command the boot partition (the fat32 formated one) that contain your BCD file, add a disk letter to this fat32 volume for exemple F:
And after that, redo the attrib command with the right path
Exemple here: attrib F:EFimicrosoftbootbcd -h -r -s
And that's Ok

Help it does not show that the blue screen after I restart to get in the setup menu it just keeps “updating the bios” when updating does not do anything and it keeps doing the update loop. I have a HP help me please
