Thanks Shane for keeping the love going while we await our Pixel Folds 😊. The significance of this is that Google has a history of bringing new products & then letting them die on the vine. One big advantage Z Fold has is ability to markup photos (with S_Pen) & extract objects from images in Gallery app. The fact that Google seems to be supporting the Fold ecosystem with features like App pairs & clones suggests Google thinks this segment is important. Which viewers of your Channel like me would likely agree with.
I'm glad app pairs look to be coming to Android 14 as that's one feature I use all the time on my Duo and I'm going to miss when my Pixel Fold arrives.
I would also like to be able to pair an app and a document or two documents.
Its funny I literally tried to drag a photo earlier today from one app to another but couldn't. So definitely useful
Lol Samsung Fold has had this for ages. It's a great feature.
Just another video that just goes to show how much the Surface Duo was ahead of its time… it had built in App Pairs in Android 10 LOL

I can confirm LG V60 also has App pairs. It is called "Multi App Shortcut" but it only shows up in the settings app when your dual screen is on. It won't show up if the dual screen is disconnected or when the second screen is folded closed to the rear of the phone.
