  1. Hey! Nice video!

I have a question, I own a RTX 4080 (Zotac Trinity) and I have a problem with it; for some reason its performing much worse than the previous one I had (RTX 3080). I’m getting 40/50% less FPS than the previous model, I have a 360hz 1080p monitor so I only play in 1080p resolution. All Nvidia settings are at maximum performance (same as I had with RTX 3080). Before installing the new GPU I’ve made sure to clean graphics drivers and after installing the RTX 4080, I installed the new ones with GE Force Experience, as I’ve done in the past multiple times with all the GPUs. And yes the RTX 4080 is installed correctly; I uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times just to make sure, and its also supported by a GPU bracket.

I checked my computer usage while playing-streaming and it seems to be an Underusage problem: GPU only runs at 20/30% of its potential, and temperatures are very low, around 30° C.

I can’t really understand why, I basically haven’t change anything except the GPU and its drivers. Do you know how to fix this?

N.B. I’m a content creator and use my PC mainly for streaming with OBS while playing, and since the GPU is the mainly used component while streaming; the upgrade was due to generally improve the system for more stable FPS and lower PC usage, not for 4K gaming. Which is exactly what I expected considering the price and the specs of the new RTX 4080. Benchmarks videos like yours of RTX4080 vs RTX3080 at 1080p prove that the RTX4080 should do about 40% more FPS at 1080p, but its not my case. I just don’t understand, hope you can help me out.

Also, just so you know, these are my PC parts:

    MOBO: Asus Z490-E Gaming | CPU: Intel i9 10900K | GPU: Zotac Trinity RTX 4080 | COOLING SYSTEM: Deepcool LS 720 SE 360mm | RAM: 32GB G.Skill F4-3600C18D | SSD: Samsung 1TB 970 Evo Plus | PSU: Asus Thor 850W | MONITOR: 1- Asus ROG PG259QN 360Hz / 2- AOC G2590PX/G2 144Hz

    Thank you!
