  4. Update… note4 and 9 User here. My new fold3 arrived some days ago via Amazon. Didn't toched it much (only charged) until I had a proper case. Now 2 days in, using it with the case, I have to say:

    Design wise, great job to samsung… I was expecting it to look more like a brick, but coming from a note9 with a case, its almost equal in size. So for me not a big of a deal. Putting the case on the fold, yea it now looks more like a brick (also because I bought the 360full protection, thats also holding the spen), BUT I fucking love it… everything I've heard, everything I was personally worried about (front screen too small, phone too big, foldable screen feels like plastic, keyboard on frontscreen too small and has no space to display the full layout etc…and many more) was absolutely demolished withing those 2 days. Same statement applies here, which I have made after switching to Samsung note 4 back in the days (I will forever be a note user unless there will be something better). I will stick with foldable phones now, until there will be something better.

    + I didn't even knew that it's like a 2 in 1 phone. As I thought the content etc will be just mirrored from small to big screen, but no. You can customize those 2 individually, so whenever you open your regular phone to a tabled it can have its own background, apps, button setting etc etc.

    And all this for a 1 year old model. Tbh in my world it is worth 1699 compared to other main brand phones, but I've paid like 860 eur for it… A NEW PHONE, NOT REFURBISHED…absolute madness I love it!!!! Thanks!

    P.s. talking about having a case now which killed the design a bit, but its also the first time I had a good feeling while holding my phone or take it out with me… not a showstopper at all.

    Edit, almost forgot: maybe just 1 pitty thing. As i was using l the spen a lot on the note4 and note9 I bought it for the new phone as well (also the bigger case), but since it's not working on the front screen, to e.g. make a quick note, it's a little pointless, as now, to make a quick note I have to take it out the slot and unfold my phone, … so this does not make much sense, as for quick notes. Sure while using it unfolded on the couch, you could use the pen,… up to you, for me looking at long term use I think the pen and the bigger case were maybe not necessary, but we will see in the future.

  5. Thanks for the great review. Based on that (an some other vids) I've ordered the fold 3 today on Amazon. Was surprised that the phone was sold for 1600 or 1900 (eur) in Germany last year via Amazon etc. But today, as the fold 4 is the current state of the art, the price for the black fold 3 dropped to 1.199 (new). Refurbished starting from 800. I was about to buy the refurbished one in black, but as I saw that there is a shop selling the silver ones (new) for 860, I went for that one. As for mobile phones i prefere to be the first "user", rather than having the color of my choice. Would prefere the black one 100%, but as there is that huge price difference and the black cover with the spen holder, which i have also ordered, will do its job anyway. I guess its not a bad deal at all. Long story cut short.. thanks again for the review. I'm fu*** hyped like a child on Christmas. Expected delivery 18-20.04. Pray for me guys, pray for delivery on 18.04. Thanks.

    Edit: just realized that 18.04. Is Tuesday, which is the "you have to be present in the office"- day. Well,… guess I'll have to quit then xD

  6. Thank you for a Great Video. You answered all of my questions regarding a Z Fold 3 for 2023. I picked up a refurbished one from Ebay at a great price with 512 gigs and unlocked, with the unit in near perfect condition ( no scratches, screen protectors in new condtion and it works just great. It updated to 13 ui5.1. the price was so good , so i also purchased the stylists Pro also at a great price, and a very nice rugged orange case which holds the regular Samsung stylists in the hinge protector which i also puchased. i use my S22 ultra as my daly driver and my z fold as my backup and home tablet after putting a small phone plan on the phone.
