Sony’s next-generation flagship Xperia 1 VI camera specifications leaked? The latest news points out that Sony will announce its 2024 mobile phone lineup at the MWC World Mobile Communications Conference next month. The three main lenses of the flagship Xperia 1 VI are expected to be equipped with the latest photosensitive elements and will be upgraded to 48 million pixels.

X breaking account @INSIDERSONY claimed that Sony will hold a press conference during the MWC conference on February 26. The three main lenses of the annual flagship Xperia 1 VI will all use 48-megapixel Exmor T sensors, which is equivalent to the previous generation. The Xperia 1 V main lens specifications will be devolved to ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses at once, bringing all-round photography evolution.

Exmor T is Sony’s first sensor released in the Xperia 1 V. Through its new “double-layer” structure, it can bring in 2 times the amount of light without increasing the size, which is especially beneficial for night photography.

The news further revealed that the main lens of the Xperia 1 VI has a sensor size of 1/1.4 inches, a pixel size of 1.12μm, and an aperture of 1/1.4, which is roughly similar to the previous generation. The ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses have been changed to 1/2.7-inch and 0.6μm pixel sizes, both of which will have better autofocus effects. In addition, the ultra-wide-angle lens will have a 1080p recording function with EIS electronic anti-shake, while the telephoto lens will provide a continuous optical zoom of 70-135mm, and can achieve 6x zoom through the internal cropping of the photosensitive element. Compared with digital Zooming reduces the loss of detail.

It has also been reported a few days ago that Sony plans to change the naming method of Xperia mobile phones. Therefore, whether the new phone will continue to be traditionally called Xperia 1 VI remains to be discussed. However, these are still just rumors and speculations and have not yet been officially confirmed. The actual changes will still be officially announced by Sony. .
