  1. I'm debating returning my 5800X3D to get my $263 back and selling off a X570 board for $100 and 64gb of RAM for $80. About $100 I could move to AM5 but on 7600. I'm back n forth on staying on my trusty X570S/64gb/6900XT system but getting onto AM5 does have it's benefits. Just waiting to see if any crazy good prices roll around, I think i missed my shot though as I cancelled my 7800X3D $348 X670E Tomahawk $192 order.

  2. would be nice if you tested more games people actually play. take a look at the steam charts its not that hard to see what people consistently play on a a daily basis

  3. Plz add an additional benchmark of the lowest presets , for those competitive gamers looking to see the Difference between the CPU only as i usually always play lowest settings with lower stretched resolutions.

  4. The most extra costs that go with the 5800x3d is a few dollars for thermal paste. With the 7700 you have to buy a new mobo and new RAM. So it's actually $600 vs $320

  5. I got a 5800X3D to replace my 3700X, i think I'll be keeping this AM4 computer for a few more years after this,
I didn't have ReBar enabled prior to this, updated bios, changed chips, enabled Rebar and I swear Ive seen 20, 30, 40% FPS gain in some games.

Fucking cyberpunk was running at 80 frames on high settings (no raytrace), Swap the chip, and it is holding 144 steady now. ridiculous.

  6. Good review. It would have been nice to include power consumption numbers. One advantage that the 7700 has over the others is the lower TDP, which could be an important consideration for small forma factor builds with limited power supplies. Just a thought.

  7. nice breakdown and recommendation.. Considering upgrading to Ryzen 7-5800x3D but for $50 more at Micro Center I can get new Motherboard, Ryzen 7700X, and 32 Gigs of Memory so may go that route for future CPU Support.

  8. If I will be into gaming next year, Im planning to go with AM5 new build to replace my current Skylake badboy thats already serving well for some 5 years or more and videos like this a great help to choose exact CPU. Good job!

  9. Microcenter bundle has Ryzen 5 7700X, B650M AM5 mobo and 32gb ram bundle for $399 + tax
Should I stick to my AM4 Platform and buy the 5800x3D for $330 or choose the bundle and upgrade?
    I currently own the ryzen 5 3600

  10. I‘m currently thinking about building a new PC and I’m thinking im gonna go with AM4 just because the AM5 Motherboards are so expensive I just can’t justify paying 300€ for a „budget“ mainboard.
