How to fix Updates Failed. There were problems installing some updates but we’ll try again later. Cumulative update error 0x800f0831 in Windows 10
When you try to install a Windows update, especially a cumulative update, you receive the following error message in WindowsUpdate.log: FATAL: CBS called Error with 0x800f0831
Cause:
This issue occurs because the update that can’t be installed requires the manifest of a previous update package.
This troubleshooting guide will work on Windows 10, windows 7, windows 8, operating systems and desktops, laptops, tables and computers manufactured by the following brands: HP, Alienware, MSI, Toshiba, Acer, Lenovo, razer, huawei among others.

I could only manage to delete de folder as indicated for solution #1 using the safe mode, but the solution didn't work. Fortunately solution #2 worked (it took a long time, but it was worth waiting for). Thank you very much!
