I tried the same thing once, with the same result. Without the glass pretty much anything will break the screen, all of its strength comes from the glass

Where did you buy the screen replacement?
Yeah you cant do that with OLED AMOLED screens fyi

My phone is broken and I want to get fixed
The replacement screen for my phone costs more than the phone. Cheap, non-user serviceable products that fall apart or become obsolete right after the warranty expires are fueling the economy and providing steady employment for wage earners. Global consumerism at its finest!

I just destroyed my digitizer doing this. Pixel 6pro, curved edge ruined it for me. I think I'd have been successful with a flat screen.
This is a BUDGET OPTION!?!?!? To be honest, i am spending 1600 UAH just to repair it.
Why can't you just stick cello tape to the screen 🤔 and try to pry it out while heating ? 🤷

I repair phones and i hv never seen anybody using glue epoxy thing to put on the screen and pulling it out its too much work 😂😂.. we have a heat plate or just heat gun, the goal is to heat enough the phone from front side while also not burning the lcd inside.. once u do that just use the tools to pull it out

I left my phone in a cart at Walmart and I went back and it was smashed someone smashed it and then turned it in I'm so mad
what are u using to separate the glass? I have replaced tons of screen but never separate glass from the screen
The android devices that have bad digitizers and otg support I just use with a mouse.
Its not elegant, but after a while you get used to it.
Motherboard so small I wonder is it possible to combine all the processing power of a bunch of cell phone motherboard power to diy network server. That fit in a briefcase
AINT nobody doing all this just to make a mistake and damage the Panel. i'll pay the $100 and let those who really know how to fix it fix it
