I think some context matters here.
If the computer is mid or high in performance usually it will benefit from newer OS but if the Pc is low to mid then it wont benefit at all or just cause worse performance due to software progression like adding features , system updates and security , in plain terms evolution = more resource hungry , rarely its ever the other way around.
you should add latency tests, fps is not everything when it comes to gaming
XP good, Vista bad, 7 good, 8 bad,10 good,11 bad,so 12 will be good again
Some websites are saying there is as much as 10% performance hit. Thats a LOT if you're only just running things right now.
Did you literally remake someone else's video?
Frank Gallagher?
I reinstalled Win 10 today after a year on 11. All I do is game on my PC.
I think I've seen a 15% drop in frames since upgrading to Windows 11, too late for me to change back now as have limited internet access..
I just installed windows 11 on my old system loptop it work very well I like it I follow your instructions with Rufus 😊😊😊 thanks alot 👍
Honestly I hate 11 for other reasons. Mainly, the customization options. Particularly where I have the bar that W11 forces you to stick to the bottom. I want it on the side, where I've been shifting it to fit years. 11 got rid of little options like that. Plus there are too many bloatware ads. Hate em. None of them even touch what I want. I'll stick with 10 until they kill it.
Thanks sir even I am going upgrade windows 11
HOW EVER
I have had a good experience with 11 so far, less stuttering and Hogwarts Legacy's framerate is significantly better for me on a 4090 and 5900X. I've seen so many game recommend Windows 11, and AMD and Intel even recommend 11 for the most recent CPUs
which debloater that you use ?
I guess Windows 11 focuses on smoothening fps drops. That's why it's always higher than on Windows 10
The fact that they removed (and still haven't brought back) "Disable All Background Apps" for no reason. Thankfully, Winareo Tweaker can disable all of it
No doubt windows 10 is best , windows 11 isn't stable till now
Brother you look like Arthur Morgan 😮😂
Windows 11 doesn't suck for gaming.
It just sucks!
Here's a little game:
Take a sip of MD everytime he says: "SO".
Thank you for the great information as I am thinking of upgrading to Win 11 👍
I my experience, Windows 11 was as bad than Windows 8, for gaming and ordinary stuff.
20$ – nope, a copy of this BS is around 2EUR and that's more than enough (;
What about Atlas OS?
these metrics are so random i hardly think changing from 10 to 11 makes any significant difference in gaming performance
just use classic shell to make it like 10
You should try Windows 11 Home vs Windows 11 Pro. Both with optimizations. I imagine pro has some level of extra overhead that Home doesn’t.
how many benchmarks did you do per game? so far i am seeing a margin of error difference.
Looks like windows 10 is configured by default for performance, while windows 11 is configured for appearance and customizability. Could you specify the versions of windows you were using? Also amazing benchmark, would be cool to see how they perform on newer hardware optimized for newer operating systems
Games like valorant, doesnt need good pc to play, but win11 ''TPM 2.0 is required to run Windows 11, as an important building block for security-related features'', that means older cpu can not play games like diablo 4, valorant… If you have win10 you are good to go.
It's some of the worst trash I've worked with in the past 40 years…at least for productivity and professional use.
Frame per second is one, the second, more important i think is latency. On W 11 is more perceptible then W10.
Older less popular games would be great in such tests. Cause they wont be extra optimised
windows 10 1809 is better
"CS2 is a brand new game". how anyone can say this with a straight face is beyond me far far away
mad jealous of that table. that's what i wanted to do til i saw the price. should have spent the $ and made one myself
yea cpu score in win 10 better than win 11 but iam using win 11 since 1 year ago
