  1. nice video, pretty detailed with solid advices and very clear explanations that most people doing similar videos fail to deliver.
If you have the resources please keep doing these.

Personally i was in between that particular 4070ti you own and and xfx 7900 xt for 1440p.
i decided to join red team for first time.

I kinda miss nvidia's vsr cause i find myslef spending more times watching random videos than playing video games nowdays, however for the games i do play, i havent had the need to even apply FSR so far, except for fortnite and that is because i wanted more than 120 fps with ray tracing enabled with other settings tweaked aswell , not that it was unplayable.

i honeslty was leaning towards to 4070ti, due to software advantages but i saw someone doing a video on a game for 1440p where he could not enable some graphic settings due to 12gb of vram.
Honestly if i spent 800-900 euro/dollars on a brand new graphics card and saw such message on my monitor i would have been hugely dissapointed considering that even if such games are only a few for now, things wont get better later on, and that is unfortunately an unavoidable truth.

However if u find yourslef playing only a handfull of games that your gpu, system and monitor are capable of, 4070ti or even inferior cards in terms of perfomance can be excfellent choices indeed.

for non fps(fisrt person shooters) or really fast paced games all you really need is 60+fps and if u can affort to apply the maximum or very high settings on it, you are going to have a really pleasant experience.

I come from a generation where fancy graphics were not a thing, but i do expect atleast nowdays an overpriced system to be able to be functional atleast and have some kind longevity.

If i enjoy a game and after 2-3 years i wont be able to play the same game with the same settings due to vram limitations, i do not consider this gpu or system to be a worthy buy.

You may thing i am exagerating here but take a look at fortnite, and how demanding it has become as a game in order to enjoy the maximum potential out of it, with dx12, rt and nanite.

I am aware that nvidia is planning on to make a new techonolgy where pretty much vram will be compressed in size, but i cant say if that will be relevant for your gpu when this will released, or if other newer graphic techonologies such as path tracing wont balance that advantage in a negative way.

In short 12Gb is really good for now, but not for everyone and not enough for "future proofing" altough that term really does not exist.

if my 3070 had something like 16gb's i would not even cosnider an upgrade. dlss quality is more than enough to play everything at 1440p, but then again it was my mistake not to be able to foresaw that issue coming.really goood card in terms of perfomance …but…
