I uninstalled update features, and it downgraded to Windows 10! The only reason I upgraded to Windows 11 was because I was having issues with the frame rate in games whenever I connected my laptop to TV, but with Windows 11, they played smoothly for some reason.

do you have a fix
The batch file didn't work. Kept saying it couldn't find various services on Win11
I had this issue with the last two cumulative updates. What I did to get the updates to install without issue was to disable all antivirus/internet security software including windows defender. The antivirus/security software had to remain disabled during the entire windows update process, which may include a reboot to finish the install.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a computer with both Windows 11 and Ubuntu installed using the dual-boot process. Every time I restarted Windows for cumulative updates, it would install up to 98%, at which point it would revert the changes made, and fail with the error code 0x800f0922.
I tried every solution mentioned in this video (also tried deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder when Windows Updates was disabled), but nothing worked. Ended up having to delete all partitions and install Windows from the installation USB.
Right now, I haven't reinstalled Ubuntu alongside Windows, as I am suspecting the problem was related with the dual-booting process, so I'm keeping an eye on the update history to check if the updates install correctly with this setup.
NOTE: I could also try setting the Windows partition as active before installing the updates (as some forums suggest), however, it turns out that is only applicable on an MBR system, not an UEFI one (such as the one I was using).
it helped thank you

Hey I would like some help with my pc, recently my pc has been trying to reinstall windows 11 because I got a registry error and the automatic repair loop, I put the media installation windows 11 in my pcs usb and when I try to do the reinstall I seem to run into a error i then reached out to support and got greeted with a go to command prompt and do diskpart and clean the disk I did that but then they said to convert the diskpart into a gpt I tried and it said virtual disk error they then didn’t tell me any info, do you know any fixes to this?
Another good guide. I always check your channel for any troubleshooting tips.
Same here Windows troubleshooter has never help me, I always had to find other ways to fix it.👍
Linux user here.. Great video to help me keep my sanity when I do have to use Windoze and it goes belly-up. These tutorials take gobs of effort for you to make but we find them invaluable!
I switched back to Linux because of Windows 10 automatically installed Nvidia Quadro Microsoft driver even though I did installed Nvidia Quadro manufacturer driver even though I did disabled automatically driver updates in gpedit and system properties please reply me back
Didn’t help. Knocked out one of my two monitors too.
I've been getting this on my PC; any ideas? Install error – 0x800f0831 on windows 11 2022-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5012592)
I have a different kind of broken update situation. A recent update for Win10 broke my troubleshooter. I can't run it while on a Web page with a problem loading because I get the message "An error occurred while loading the troubleshooter" (code 0x80004005). Do I dare try a Win10 reset with my data intact? Do they have a troubleshooter fix patch for that problem?
👍
Good reinforcement of best practices and maintenance discipline. Thanx Brian
I had another issue where I couldn't download any updates. DISM, sfc scan, disabling/re enabling update service, and every other troubleshooting issue didn't work. Had to call Microsoft. Not sure how windows update is always broken
