That's crazy, and it's not an optimization issue since the S23U has been out for a year now but still loses to others.
My S24U lasts about 6.5 hours on average, and yes, with hours of YouTube every day. That's why I think this phone has average battery life while others get 10 hours of screen-on time. Maybe they don't watch YouTube xD
I'm using OnePlus 12 on 2K resolution and on Adaptive brightness, got highest screen on time of 12h and used since last charge 1d 7h 😳😳

I am just checking gsmarena battery test for those phones for web browsing and video streaming, and the results are completely different. I mean wtf?
You have to incorporate size, brightness and quality of screen.

After all, the battery life of iPhone15 pro max is worse than iPhone 15plus this time.
I noticed the same thing on my 23 plus ( SD gen 2) , great battery life until you start watching pretty well anything for extended periods of time, interesting 🤔

For Samsung Phones It would be interesting to do It again using the browser to see YouTube videos insted the app and check the battery Drain

You should add a social media test to replicate real life usage a little more. This could test both browsing longevity and video longevity (reels)
