10. If you have an 4090 oc and playing in 4K and want the best results go with the 13900ks it s slightly faster in every title game only not in games with demanding big cach which are 4 to 5 games

21. Big win for eveyone. For my uses which is Flight Sims, AMD is the clear winner with X3D so I built a 7950X3D rig. But with them coming out the gates and beating Intel with each release it only pushes tech in the right direction for all of us. Now Intel needs to have a bigger answer with 14XXX and AMD with Zen 5…I was a Intel user forever until Zen 3…but love the competition!

23. You aren’t using the 13900ks to its maximum whilst you are for the 7950X3D due to using 6,000MHz RAM for both.

    The 7000 Series’ sweet spot and pm max for RAM is 6,000
    Whilst the 13th Gen is 7,200

24. Starnge your 7950x3d seems to be using a lot more watts than all the rest of the gaming numbers I have seen. Your CPU speeds on it also looked like it stayed on CCD1 as well during the test as it was pretty much 5650 the whole time. Looked pretty much like a standard 7950x.

28. So gaming is essentially the same? Some small wins on each side. All the hype around the 3d chips were for nothing. But given how much cache regular 7000 have, it was somewhat obvious that the difference would be small.

    The only issue with the review that I have is that you used 6000 ram for the intel. That is leaving between 2 to 4 percent performance on the table with most games, but it makes a big difference in some games. Getting the memory timings right is also crucial. There is also the fact that with intel you could technically overclock and get a couple more percentage points, albeit only if you could cool the cpu well enough!

32. Waiting for a fight to start between Intel & Amd fanboys, lol
    AMD did a good job, from my perspective, and I prefer and am an intel owner.
    But I dont understand the point of this chip. Yeah, good in games… but in workloads, falls behind.
    Personally, fewer and fewer people are playing on 1080p and pushing xxxx fps, so I would rather go with i9 or normal 7950x than this one.
    If I would go with the game focused cpu, then would wait something like 5800x3d was
