  1. Of course the Cybertruck moves the needle, but it'll be felt by 2030. Every CT won't need to be replaced by another EV pickup because they won't rust like the others will. Tough exterior. No rock chips to the windshield. It's just a keeper.

I suspect the 4680 will pack more range just 2 or 3 years from now. Also by this time FSD should be miles ahead of where it's at today.

Fully ramped at 1 million in about 4 years of satisfied owners without a need to get a new pickup for what most pickups are used for.

The other companies can stay with their ladder on frame EV which can easily change cab and bed configurations.

  2. Can't really cross shop something that is not available for years. If you are not very high on the list you can't get one even if you decide it's better.

  3. Oh yes it moved the needle Down 10% Tesla only delivered 12 12 That's right meaningful production will not start until 2025 – where is that in your big news? Until then only a trickel of essentially hand made trucks will be produced – can they do 500 a month this way? I hate shills that avoid the realities of this collosal failure – the 4680 is clearly the root problem – it can't be made without massive defect levels – making Cybertruck, Semi, new roaster – all in peril of being cancelled.

  4. Price. Everyone gets it wrong. Bi-directional charging. Most don't jnow what this is and will be educated on it soon. Look into the pilot program in Texas. U will make money not lose it.

  5. They've got enough interest to sell these trucks for top price for three years. That'll put 400k units on the road. By then, batt. tech. will help increase range while ramp knowledge will decrease price. Nobody is going to want a Lightning over a CT when the price is comparable.

  6. Listening to them makes me vomit !! The DEMAND is through the roof, they are PRODUCTION limited, that is WHY they can charge this amount. Why would ANY company charge a low price for a HIGH DEMAND vehicle…..makes no sense !!!!!!

  7. At this point Tesla is the leader in EVs, the best charging network hands down, everyone else is a distance 1 or 2 years from catching them. I'll pay that price and not even think twice.

  8. This revolutionary vehicle, all the new technologies poured into, and this dudes the only thing they do is complain about the price as if this thing just appeared out of nowhere! They expected the Cybetruck cost to be lower than the price of a Burrito! They are nuts! And they don’t appreciate the effort Tesla put into this to create a new disruptive product which will change the auto industry. Cybertruck is a historical vehicle and already claimed a spot in the rich 130 years history of the auto industry.

  9. I’m a Tesla fan. Minor holder. I think this is a huge flop on account of weak ass range. Most disappointed that it was so, so far off the range previously announced.

  10. This is aired by CNBC, a Tesla fans, with two Tesla super bulls, with no contradictory point of view to bring them down to reality. Tesla does not need to advertise, when CNBC is doing it for them every step of the way. Remember Tesla fans who bought the model X are now looking at a car 40% of original value. Also Cyber truck will appeal to folks who have deep pockets, hence same target audience of Model X.

  11. Yes, price is out of reach for most. But, Cyber Truck verses Ford’s lightning is oranges and ??? The lightning is a one off. There will be no future development or advancements with the lightning.

  12. When people realize insurance will cost $4000-$5000 per year and any repair will cost thousands no one will buy it. Also, it’s poorly built -watch.

  13. Gene, why would you be disappointed? with today's inflation, do you really expect to pay $40K for a truck that out-pull a FORD F-350 and out run a Porsche hauling a one?

  14. Elon reminds me of Frank Loyd Wright, the brilliant architect, whose designs were years ahead of their times, so much so that the available technology made it difficult to implement those designs. The builders following Wright's plans frequently were forced to invent new technologies and techniques in order to complete the structures Wright designed.

  15. This is near hypercar performance. If Tesla could make money on a 150K roadster it would dominate the supercar segment; everything from loaded muscle cars to mid level Porsche and entry McLarens. Style, performance and low continuing cost of ownership.Just my opinion.

  16. This truck will not drop reservations it will INCREASE reservations while Disney and CNBC LOSES loyal customers getting Boycotted. Ur cancelled NOT TSLA, big dummy!

  17. 10 cyber truck in 4 years 250,000 next year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂tesla 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
