  1. You know i used to love AMD but it became an ongoing experience with just little issues whether drivers etc… while Price point and performance at times can be in the AMD camp… I just think Nvidia has a better handle on drivers etc… Your mileage may vary …kind of like Ford and Chevy whatever you have luck with…

  2. Quick question did intel aim for pure gaming on the 14900k or is it a all around Cpu… 3dv cache offers more fps but why does the 14900k score higher in 3dmark? vs x3d cpu's it seems to me people are comparing cpu's that were meant for different purposes.

  3. I just upgraded to the 7800x3d from the intel 11700K, i'm glad i didn't go with intel. The power draw is so much less than intel and barely goes over 80C.

  4. AMD is better at 1080p easily. Slightly better for 1440p. Best for budget & mid-tier gaming. Roughly 80% of the market.

Intel is better for work tasks and ties at 4k gaming. However, 4k gaming is very expensive. Smaller market too.

  5. I absolutely love the fact that he has to tiptoe around the fact that an AMD processor is better than an Intel processor had this been a video where the Intel processor was better it would have been a 5 second conclusion Don't buy AMD buy and tell AMD garbage but instead because AMD is the better processor he has to spend 10 plus minutes validating his experience and validating the performance of the product and trying to convince you that it's actually good makes zero sense great video though

  6. My last AMD CPU was a Phenom II X6 1100T around 2011 – currently using a build based around an i7 8700K that I put together in 2018. I'm glad to see direct comparisons like this one before a new build.

  7. 0:35 I recently did a new PC build using the Antec P1 case and it's a fantastic case with a seriously major negative everyone thinking of getting this case must know about: the power supply cage is ridiculously, stupidly small. You better pre-plug your cables into the PSU and good luck plugging anything else into it after it's installed. The PSU cage is NOT removable and it's impossible to get your hands into it with the PSU installed with a bunch of cables already plugged in. It actually angers me that all the reviews just completely ignore the blatant, annoying flaw. I might not have bought this case if I knew about it.

Also you can't change the temp display on the case from Celsius making it pointless. I'm all for the metric system but Celsius is just stupid. I'm freezing at 34C but I'm roasting at 35C? Or something like that. What I'm saying is this is a seriously biased temp display.

For all of the annoying bits and bobbles of the P1 case I have to rate it at 3 out of 5. Would bang.

  8. im gonna wait till the i9 15k before upgrading. the 13 and 14k both seem to just throw more power at the problem rather then making a better chip. apparently the 15k is an actual new design thats better.

  9. The only real issue the 7800X3D with gaming is that games that compile shaders ahead of time it will be slower than other CPUs, even the 7700X… but that is such a small con, it's not worth mentioning.

  10. got a i7-13700k and im super happy with it, i might consider an AMD CPU next upgrade if Intel doesn't manage to close the general performance gap though

  11. No one can see the fps differences with the naked eye! Nobody! Even if it a split screen, you will never see the difference with the naked eye, you will only know the fps difference by a program telling you the frame number. You can't even see the difference between 180 and 200 fps with the naked eye, let alone 5 or 6 fps. It doesn't make any sense! It's just a marketing ploy to fool the consumer society. You'll get 5% fps more on average if you buy the 7800X3D instead of the 14900k. So what? What does it matter if you'll never see the difference with naked eye? If the average difference was more, you wouldn't see it with the naked eye! This is a huge scam and marketing ploy!

  12. On the older AM4 platform… AMD kept us alive with AMD Zen, Zen+, Zen2, and Zen3 CPU compatibility.
The new AM5 just released accepts Zen4 right now (7000 series CPU). So who knows how long you can stay alive with the new DDR5 platform.

Intel is notorious for making you buy a whole new motherboard almost every generation of CPU.

7800X3D is an easy winner in every area.

  13. The 4K numbers are NOT Useless. Just because you are almost always GPU limited in 4K doesn't mean I still don't want to know what the numbers I would get if I used those products at 4K.

  14. Im still running 1700x with rx6600 xt ,my games are not demanding , so im ok .
World of warship and world of tanks , both i get 144 fps on my ultrawide monitor.
Except Ms flight sim 2020 , im looking to upgrade to 7800x3d and rx7900xtx or rtx4080 super , or wait for next gen, by then cpu and gpu will be even more cheaper,
Even 5800x3d on Am 4 is cheap , Amd stuff is amazing .

  15. dont forgor guys : Be wary of sponsored reviews with cherry picked games that showcase the wins, ignore frame drops and gloss over the losses. Also watch out for AMD’s army of Neanderthal social media accounts on reddit, forums and youtube, they will be singing their own praises as usual. AMD continue to develop “Advanced Marketing” relationships with select youtubers with the obvious aim of compensating for second tier products with first tier marketing. PC gamers considering a 7000X3D CPU need to work on their critical thinking skills: Influencers are paid handsomely to promote overpriced niche products (X3D, EPYC, Threadripper etc.). Rational gamers have little reason to look further than the $300 13600K which offers comparable real-world gaming and better desktop performance at a fraction of the price. Workstation users (and RTX 4080+ gamers) may find value in higher core CPUs such as the 16-core $400 13700K. Despite offering better performance at lower prices, as long as Intel continues to sample and sponsor marketers that are mostly funded by AMD, they will struggle to win market share.

  16. I picked up am AMD 7800X3D at microcenter this past weekend for $219. Price is really coming down, now that Ryzen 9000 has been announced.

  17. Well I’m thinking about building a new rig… its just the high pricing nowadays I mean 10 years ago u put a 1000€ on the table and had a system holding out for at least 5 years!

Now u gotta spend at least double of it to be sure of that and u won’t get real top notch parts…

And that bothers me. I I guess ill stick to my PS5 for now!

The value is just not there anymore a mid range card like a 4070tiS for 900€ is way too much!

  18. what i took from this is that even with the RTX 4090 GPU, 4K is still not reaching high enough FPS to warrant high frame rate 4K monitors. that is mind blowing to me. even more shocking to me is that AMD is not going to compete against the 4090 with its next generation of GPUs. they will target the lower price market

  19. this guy has single handily convinced all his viewers that the CPU doesn't heat up with usage.

they do in fact heat up with usage, and you won't utilize the i9 via gaming to make a difference in heat.

notice how he didn't show temp avg? or any real info, just charts.

  20. I love my 14900k It keeps my room at nice ambient temperatures when I'm gaming but in all honestly boosting to 6.1GHz on idle at stock is crazy! if you have an aio then you got nothing to worry about. Doing a minus offset of -0.0900V makes me feel like I won the silicon lottery.
