For some reason the battery drain on my s23 is too much I hardly get 5hrs of sot…waited for the learning phase to get over still no luck…I also did reset my phone and I am nowhere close to others s23,they get over 6 hrs of sot…also I am a light user ND I don't play games…

I have a new S23. 6 days ago. Thx for the 7 day charge cycle info. Was not aware. First impressions are very disappointing battery life (vs S20). Phone battery runs out by 4 to 5 pm. No Bueno. I turned on power saving, switched to dark background on the display, and turned off GPS. That dramatically increased life to 10 pm . Any more insights appreciated

I had a Galaxy S20 for about a year and a half. I loved that phone. Awesome battery life on it too. I just got the S23 today and so far, I'm loving it. Haven't charged it yet but gonna have too soon. I've been using an iPhone 13 for the last year and a half around and I feel like I'm gonna like the S23 much better. I really like Samsung's phones.
does it show L5 and E5 frequencies during gps test?
should we discharge the battery down to 15% or less before we start to charge the battery to full or at least 80%-90% ?

S23 has 101 hours battery endurance rating compared to the S22 85 hours. Case closed!
Is this going to give me less sot than iphone 14 or more?
Do you think the battery is a big difference enough to warrant an upgrade from the regular s22. My s22 battery is just horrible.
If you start recording in 0.5x while using 4k60, you should be able hold press the lens button right above your recording station. Then you should be able to switch freely. If your start recording in 1x then you can't go to 0.5x.

6hrs+ SOT in flagship it has 3900 mah battery not bad.
I got 6h of SOT with 10% left. The phone is still learning usage patterns, so I am hoping for even better battery performance. *also thanks a lot for this review Alex, it helped me make my decision much easier 🙂
Im still waiting for my s23 too land in my mailbox. Only thing im a little worried about is the screen. My s20 has wqhd+ screen and the s23 has only fhd+ hope it's not noticeable otherwise I may return it
