  1. Love my MY, and the tech, no buttons, etc. Like change, you adapt to it, and it's all good. Plus the best buying experience all within an app.😎

  2. I test drive 3 times and cannot justify the price for 47k just for standard Y out of the door , people are just crazy paying for software , other then that range anxiety always there as even 330 miles cannot go more then 250 due to 80% max charge also shocks are worse then my bolt and Avalon ,

  3. Pointless effort. This was built last year as you showed, meaning it’s not with the updated suspension nor is it even a 2023 car. Thumbs downed.

  4. We just bought a new model y LR, picking it up on Tuesday… usually id buy used on any car but the federal tax break gets it so close to used prices right now that it just made sense to buy a new car.

  5. turn signal..auto cancel is amazing. just tap down .. see BSC and then change lanes and it goes off on its own. so awesome. all controls linked to your profile. If you want it cooler use voice command. press scroll wheel and say, I'm hot or blow air to my face. this lot easier than any buttons.

  6. I prefer the M3 styling. The Y is like "fat a$$" version of a 3. That being said, I test drove a 3, and realized that the rear seats are effectively useless to anyone over 15 or so. Much less adults.
So, for practical reasons I went with a '23 Y (soon to be picked up). But I still prefer the 3's look.

  7. Watching your Model Y videos back to back gives me a very clear view of how you feel about Tesla. First video: you absolutely hated. Maybe it was the valet mode. Probably not just that. You said it was only Premium. Premium is good 😊. This video you are gushing over the exact same car. Glad you’re able to see prices directly correlate with experience.

  8. Just bought the Model Y last week… drove it for 2 days before dropping it off for ceramic coating and miss driving it already. You get used to it quickly. It’s fun to drive.

  9. We are test driving a 18 model 3 long range in a pretty red color and both my wife and I are hooked on Tesla now to get out of our terrain denali

  10. hello can you list the other EV cars that are better than this Tesla model Y. I am shopping around and would like to make an informed purchase.

  11. I get my new Model Y Performance next week in Deep Blue Metallic. I am excited! The range difference between the Long Range and the Performance does not bother me at all as it is minimal. I have a 240V charger at home and the Tesla supercharger network is quite extensive in my area. I went with the Performance because the wheels on the Long Range and Base models are not attractive in my opinion. The Uberturbine wheels look so good and so does that carbon fiber spoiler. I can't wait!

  12. All Tesla's have over 100 voice commands. Simply press and hold the right button the steering wheel, ex. Turn AC to 65 degrees and its done two hands in the wheel, who needs switches

  13. Everything apart from the battery and motors are cheaply made and feel cheap. From the paint, panels, interior… they have the build quality and material quality of 90s fords.

  14. I do not want to buy from a dealership, given the hassles and all the money they spend lobbying to maintain their control. So, direct sale only for me, which leaves me with only a few choices and Tesla is the most robust system right now.

  15. I bought a new 2023 model Y, Red exterior, White Interior, Duel Motor on April 23rd. Had a mouse issue with the wiring. Got it repaired. They gave me a 2021 model Y loner to drive. All in all , i really like the car. .. make sure your garage is mouse proofed before buying one. God Bless.

  16. The "storage" area right under/behind the screen with two indents is really the wireless phone charger pads. You kind of lost me there as I figured everyone knew that by now. The middle screen does take a while to get used to the differences, but I didn't mind after awhile and actually found it didn't bother me. The only thing against Tesla that I have is the build quality. I don't want parts falling off or not flush like it should be. The charging network is the best though and way ahead of everyone else. That is why Ford and GM are switching to their charger port.

  17. Having driven the first and second generations of Prius for fifteen years, you do get used to not having a speedometer right in front of you. Regarding your comment on the stiff suspension, Tesla supposedly has softened the suspension for the long range (not performance) versions of the Model Y, as it did earlier with the Model 3. What bugs me about Tesla is the absence of true blind spot monitoring with LED indicators located on the mirrors, like any other car that has this feature. And having most of the wiper control managed in a poor way by the car's computer automatically, is a stupid cost saving endeavor by Musk. And the Self-Driving feature is a scam that doesn't even compete with my lowly 2017 Subaru Forester for adaptive cruise control reliability ( my car has never ever phantom braked or panic stopped, unlike my uncle's 2022 Model 3).

Nevertheless, the engineering underneath the somewhat vanilla skin of the Model Y is a marvel of ingenuity and simplicity. Instead of multiple cooling and heating systems for the cabin, electronics, and the motors; the car has an all-in-one solution that is light years ahead of the competition. And everything from the charging connectors to the motor design has been carefully thought out and designed by a company that builds only electric cars. Maybe Toyota, Ford and GM will get it right someday; but quite frankly while their products have nice fluffy interiors, contemporary fashion designs; their software, mechanicals and battery designs are a total disaster and are not ready as a replacement for an ICE vehicle.
