3. How does the U bolt hold up in storms? I just got mine. I will be on a non moving RV, but I get lots of wind and rain in the winter.

6. The initial price is much lower than one of the new Pepwave modems… The 5G one is over $1200.

7. I love the complaints with Starlink where they're complaining their only getting 100mgps. If you get 5mbps you can at least work or do a single stream as well as upload videos.

8. We have had ours at home for a while. We have a camping spot an hour from home, and we are installing ours through our outdoor kitchen behind the living room tv.

11. We have been using starlink on our 20 acre rv land location in Wisconsin since March 1st. It’s been amazing. We’ve also used it in Elkhart Indiana last week at the rv museum. It worked great. We also have a 2nd starlink for our business in our local area. It’s been working amazingly for that also.

14. I would mount the antenna on an extendable mast camped to the ladder just so you'd be able to raise it above the trees. But then again the Ham in me wants antennas as high as I can get them.

17. You don't have to waste time bolting it to the RV. That's extreme IMO. The antenna will survive pretty high winds using it's own stand, free standing. And putting on the roof isn't necessary unless you're in a high crime area, which is unlikely while camping. A ground location get less wind exposure too. The setup and breakdown time is most important to me, so organizing things for quick setup/breakdown is prudent. Ground location helps to avoid tree interference, and a cord caddy to wind up the cord for tidy storage helps too. I've made a storage rack in my basement to minimize the footprint in the basement. We've been using ours for a month now and love the Starlink as back up to our Verizon Pepwave cellular router. I've found you really don't need full sky visibility, but it provides faster speeds if you do, with less down time. Just look for open sky toward the north when selecting your campsite.

19. If someone is in rural America or an RV and Starlink is available this is a no brainer regardless of the cost which BTW is reasonable considering what you get. I have lived out in the sticks with no internet access, no fun. This is a game changer.

23. Looking for something, not sure what route to go. Our current Coach states it is prewired for King connect, but I'm so new to new all of this I have no idea what to do. I appreciate all your videos, you're so helpful and I especially appreciate how positive you both are, thanks for everything you do and share
