I’ve become a market research KING for Overkill in the past few weeks. Thank you so much for taking part in all the polls I put out! But seriously, Jacket, better than Jimmy? Bonnie the worst heister in the game? Ooft.

  1. Still asking the question, when payday 3 release date?!?!?! We're almost halfway through the year, and still no word on a date! Making me nervous that we might not get it until the end of the year, which I was optimistically hoping it would be out by the middle of the year… Not looking so good though 🙁

  2. I agree we'll probably be getting a Q3-4 release and im expecting to get a trailer of some sort sometime around July-August. Of course it won't be as large as PD2 is rn, but with atleast 18 months of post release updates, i think by the time 2024 ends it'll be just as big as payday 2,if not bigger.

Also if theres no Fort Knox heist ill be pissed

  3. I just hope PD3 will release each DLC on all platforms instead of just giving all the good stuff to PC and leaving console in the dust with just some mega-addon packs.

  4. My hopes are the game is close to ready and they're polishing. That'd explain the co confidence about the release date because they could release it once they're proud of it, likely in 2023.

  5. While it is totally possible for Overkill to hit their target date of 2023, the hardest part of actually doing so is making sure all the new features and old features are working correctly together on a new engine. Though, as you pointed out, they are still a business that has to produce some kind of results eventually. So if they do push Payday 3 out in late '23 there is a good chance there will be some glaring bugs and issues. It's just a matter of how game breaking they are. After all, Payday 2 still has its fair share of bugs but they are minor ones that don't constantly break game play.

Though what they have working for them is over a decade of experience and a joy for games. Whether Payday 3 has a wobbly launch sooner or less wobbly launch later, it will still be the new prized pony to receive updates and content. And Payday 2 players will still be playing it. Plus the music will be new banger after banger. In the meantime, there's more infamy to gain.

  6. wait a second, bain became the president… is teh president going to manage the cheists or is he going to help us deal with the police or something like that?

  7. I know that every payday 2 player wants payday 3 to be released but i dont since im a noob to payday i just bought it today and its kinda sucks when u buy a game and not even a year later a new version of the game is released and having to pay again.
