  1. Anything lower than 1050mV will be fine in stress tests and benchmarks like 3DMARK and Heaven and will get you better scores the lower you go, but will crash or cause driver timeouts when playing actual games. For example I was able to go as low as 960mV in Heaven and 3DMARK but couldn't even open Rainbow Six Siege without there being driver timeouts. The lowest I could go without crashes in games is 1070mV. Always test actual games not just synthetic loads.

  2. On the latest AMD drivers 24.2.1.
    I can now easily reach 2.8GHZ even with 1100mv, I think they let some restrictions back to 7800XT. Although I saw significant more power consumption and now my hotspot temps reach 96°C were previously with topping at 2.7GHz I'm hovering around 85°C max for the hotspot. Don't think it's really worth but I wanted to let you know that you can reach this easier on the new AMD GPU drivers
