Some users complained that when the alarm clock sounded, when they used Google Voice Assistant to give instructions to turn off the alarm clock, Google Voice Assistant deleted all stored alarm settings. Foreign media AndroidAuthority conducted actual tests on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series and found that this problem does exist. It does not rule out that older models are also affected. It is speculated that Google Voice Assistant misunderstood the meaning of turning off the alarm clock, leading to this result.
But strangely, AndroidAuthority has also tested other brands of mobile phones, such as OPPO, Xiaomi, etc., and they can all be used normally. It shows that the problem only occurs on Pixel phones, but the specific reason is unknown.
Google has not yet responded to this. To be cautious, foreign media recommend that Pixel mobile phone users do not use Google Voice Assistant to turn off the alarm clock for the time being. It is safer to turn it off manually. Maybe Google will fix it in the future.
