Samsung pushes Galaxy AI to old devices,

Recently (March 28), Samsung’s overseas official website issued a press release stating that it will gradually push the One UI 6.1 upgrade method through different regions, allowing many old Galaxy devices that will be sold in 2023 to have the opportunity to experience the first Galaxy S24 series Galaxy AI powerful functions.

According to a press release issued on Samsung’s overseas official website, starting from March 28, the One UI 6.1 upgrade will be pushed to devices released in 2023, including Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S23 FE; the folding screen machine Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and flagship tablets Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be able to experience the latest Galaxy AI features. The timetable for supporting Galaxy AI on the above Hong Kong version models will be further announced by Samsung Hong Kong.

After the upgrade, all models mentioned above will be able to use Circle to search with Google and Galaxy AI real-time translation (Tab S9 series is limited to 5G models); real-time slow-motion recording is limited to S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series. Users should note that if they want to use various functions of Galaxy AI, they may need to be connected to the Internet and log in to a Samsung account. Some functions may only be supported when launching apps such as Samsung Browser and Samsung Notes.
