#windows11 #windows10 #techtips
A bit off topic, but windows 11 related, been using 11 for a couple of months and just found the dynamic lighting setting. Can control my Logitech keyboard rgb from windows instead of the Logitech software.
Those keys, are they provided by microsoft or?
It worked with Windows 8.1 in power shell
awesome video
I've been using a ready-to-use registry files for the Copyto/moveto function in Windows 7, 8, and 10. I don't understand why Microsoft won't simply include the feature. I also don't understand why MS can't just offer the old context menu as an option.
What even better is the newer apple cpu has a internal core hacked code built in π
Take a look at Xplorer2 (which I've used for years). This is File Explorer on steroids.
Did you know that when you hold shift button and right click it shows a classic context menu ?
Thanks for the video.
ππ
Just did it with my Windows 11 laptop. Maybe Microsoft outta include them in the next version of Windows.
Another great video i'm still using Explorer Patcher for the context & start menus, thanks Brian
I guess it would be useful for beginners.
thanks britec nice bit of tech to setup
Cool tip as always -Thanx Brian πππ
…or just ignore explorer all together and use total commander π he he
Looks useful in some cases, but I prefer using Total Commander, or any other two-tile file manager like double commander which works for Mac/Linux/Win
Who the "F" in the microsoft team keeps f@%king changing things that work well, now we have to keep a list of tweaks, or use a tweak program to put things back. Getting beyond the joke.
This is great. I also added "Restart Explorer" to the context menu. I feel like a lot of your viewers will find it useful.
Nice, simple as … thanks .. π
Great vid π
I found changing the context menu, got rid of what was the most annoying part of Windows 11 for me. Using Start 11 as well, it is all less annoying.
Nice one Brian! useful for those that don't want to resort to using a canned tool to do the work!
i want to like this video every time I watch.
Thanks! I just changed back to Windows 10.
I still have the reg keys from 2020 … DeJaVu π
anything above win7 i call "windows RSI" .. ever counted how many extra clicks there is?
Didn't you do this years ago with windows 10 ? I'm sure I still have a batch file you created way back then on my USB stick in folder called Britec Tools & Tips π
It's okay. I prefer the classic way. This is just quite awkward to adapt to. π€£
I definitely like that. thank you. π
The WIndows 10 File Explorer and right-click menu had moved to and copy to and I hate that Microsoft removed it from Windows 11
I used Ultimate Windows Tweaker for Windows 11 to add copy and move files and folder
