  3. i have this radio in my 2011 buick regal cxl turbo……i bought it in june of 2023. Today i had to change the car battery cause it was bad…….now when i turn the car on, everything that was set wasnt set anymore so i had to go back n reset everything. the problem that im having now is when i connect(bluetooth) my phone to the radio, it goes to a screen saver until i tap the screen then goes back to the playlist that i have on my phone. does anyone know how to fix this where it just stays on the playlist thats sync through my phone(my playlist is on youtube)

  4. how to turn off the throbbing commercial for apple play or android. Every few moments it pops up, runs through the commercial then goes away only to pop back up 15 seconds later

  5. This Stereo sucked for me. Apple Carplay does not work well with bluetooth. It randomly cuts out for no reason all day. Had to exchange it. The touchscreen is also glitchy. There is a reason it is cheaper than other units

  7. Just got a similar kenwood and really don’t like it .. Playing video via USB locks up during movie play . I’ve tried all kinds of USB drives and it makes no difference.. playing a movie has zero stability..

  8. Have an issue with this radio. A couple months I’ve been having this same problem I can’t hear phones calls through Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth. I can’t hear navigation directions with apple car play and the volume is turned up all the way. The only time I can hear directions is I’m connected to the Bluetooth. I would appreciate it if someone could help or give some tricks on how to fix this. Thank you

  10. Our unit won't even display the USB mirror option.
    The button stays Grey if that makes sense. Android auto is updated, firmware is current..
    Ebrake engaged and still we can't mirror with our dmx4707s.

    Had a stereo shop do the install. I wonder if something isn't connected? Is there a wire from the deck to the e brake or does it work a different way?

  13. Depending on the situation the DMX4707S can be a nightmare…as of today, the latest update came out in December 2022. Every 8 to 10 weeks I can turn my car off and the unit keeps playing and I have no control over it. Drains the car battery if it sits too long. The installer just tried updating to the latest firmware and it bricked the unit. The local Kenwood rep gave the dealer the OK to put in a new unit and then they successfully installed the latest (Dec 2022) update. Runs great until it doesn't and there are many variables between each customer's installation so it's very hard to pin down a cause…but usually, it's software related as the same thing has happened to others…

  21. Got an issue on my dmx4707s. It just froze up when you start up. It just stays on the KENWOOD screen. I tried to reset it in the bottom little hole but it just stays on the KENWOOD start up screen. Can anybody tell me what seems to be the problem?!😫

  22. When you go from the regular system to Apple CarPlay with the bass setting stay the same if I change them in the graphic equalizer setting? Is Apple CarPlay wireless? And if I turn my car off with Apple CarPlay on will it stay on Apple CarPlay when I turn the car back on or will I have to open it when the screen turns on? Thank you very much
