Apple Vision Pro OR $5,000 TV!?

Apple’s $3500 Vision Pro is an incredible piece of tech. Personally, it’s an easy replacement for a $4000 TV. Let’s why I think the Apple Vision Pro is so compelling, but why many will still prefer to opt for a larger TV.

  1. Vervanger voor je tv is het zeker niet ….😂….probeer masr eens alles wat nu op je tv staat en streaming apps op je vision pro te bekijken …dit gaat niet…dus veel geld voor dat ding….

  2. I have an 85” tv and I realize that I will need to get a new one at some time. To replace this tv it will cost me $6,000 to $12,000, this makes the Vision Pro cheep. And soon Apple will develop or install sharing so multiple people can watch the same thing. I live in Canada so I am waiting till Vision Pro is available here. Plus the audio system savings haven’t even been added in. I can’t wait.

  3. So if you setup a 77" screen in the headset and place it same distance away as you have your 77" tv are you saying that the picture quality is the same as your 4K tv? Or are you just saying it is better because you can have a larger screen?

  4. It has replaced my home theater set up and now I don't feel like buying the LG G2 that I was planning to buy. An 83" G2 is $6,500. I can have a 250" or 300" virtual screen that looks just as good with Vision Pro. Not to mention how much it would cost to get audio for a room that is as good.

  5. It totally makes for an awesome personal portable home theater! It's only missing video inputs and a way to output to a top-of-the-line sound system to make for a true premium home theater setup. The built-in speakers and AIrPod Pros sound great, but they can't beat a premium surround sound system.

You nailed one of the pros though. Watching the Super Bowl and being able to take the screen with me into the kitchen for beer and snacks or pull it through the wall into the bathroom with me means I didn't have to miss a second of the game or commercials.

  6. I wore my Apple Vision Pro to watched end game and I didn’t one time feel like I needed to take it off. I was surprised how it felt with the dual loop vs. the band

  7. I think apple would bring syncing the same screen along with other apple vision pro devices so that all can watch exactly same thing.

Secondly, i think price of these headsets will drop massively over time as more and more companies like samsung will join the race.
Initially they have kept it costly but i think within 5 years, price could go down to $1000 or even less.

  8. I can’t see how the Apple Vision Pro won’t succeed long term IF Apple keep working to decrease the weight, increase the battery life and lower the price. You basically have an infinite screen for streaming videos. You can theoretically make your entire room into a screen. You can’t get more immersive than that. And while Netflix and YouTube aren’t available now for it … they will end making an app if enough people use it. As for Spotify… if you truly care about sound quality, you aren’t using Spotify anyways and I don’t think Apple should allow them into the Vision Pro App Store anyways until they make their entire catalog lossless quality and offer Dolby Atmos.

  9. When I get the Vision Pro, I'll probably prefer to watch shows and movies on it when I'm by myself. I'm happy to have the Sony OLED and Atmos sound system for when I have guests over though.

  10. Can Vision Pro connect to a surround sound system? Surely the built in speakers can't replicate the base. Quite a big factor that this video has omitted.

  11. It can never replace the social experience of watching tv. Also, I don't want that hunk of metal on my head just to watch tv. I couldn't imaging spending 5k on a TV. either. Plenty of great tv's in the 1k range. to each, their own, but the AVP is a very expensive toy.
