The Galaxy AI artificial intelligence application is the first to be pre-loaded on Samsung’s key mobile phone Galaxy S24 series, allowing users to experience a number of intelligent auxiliary tools such as real-time voice call translation, foreign language web page translation and summary, etc. Earlier, the brand officially announced that it would deploy Galaxy AI to more older models in May, including the S22, Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 launched the year before.
According to a press release issued by Samsung Global, it was confirmed that the brand will implement the next round of Galaxy AI artificial intelligence tool decentralization plan in May. At that time, additional Galaxy AI devices will be added, including the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra released in February last year; the year before last Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 released in August; and flagship tablets Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra also released in February of the previous year. The Hong Kong version push schedule for the above models is pending further information from Samsung Hong Kong.
The press release mentioned that the above models will be upgraded with Galaxy AI as one of the new features after the One UI 6.1 interface is pushed. The corresponding features will include Google’s Circle to Search, intelligent translation and text selection, and real-time voice. Call translation, and a number of Galaxy AI functions marked with stars are attached to Samsung’s own apps such as Samsung Browser and Samsung Notes, allowing old users to experience the latest AI applications.
